Rabi Mishra (1957 – 20 January 2021) [1] was an Indian actor who worked in Odia films, television serials, and theatres. He was known for his comedy characters. Mishra played various roles from negative to character artist[ clarification needed ] in many TV series and films, but the character of Gopala Bhanda on the TV series Gopala Rahasya, which aired on DD Odia in 1994, gave him popularity. He started his acting career in 1979 with the Odia film Ramayan by Dhira Biswal where he played the character of Sugriva. [3] He acted in more than 70 Odia films, including Bhai hela bhagari, Sakala tirtha to charane, Soubhagyabati, and Dhauli Express. [4]

Death

Mishra died on 20 January 2021 at the age of 64 from cardiac arrest. [5] On 19 January, while he was acting for a series he felt pain and was admitted to hospital, but died the next day. [6] [7]

Hello Arsi is a 2018 Indian Odia romantic drama film written and directed by Sambit Mohanty, and produced by Ajaya Routray. The film stars Partha Sarathi Ray and Prakruti Mishra. The film background score was composed by sound designer Subash Sahu, and its soundtrack was composed by Mitrabhanu Mohanty. Critics praised the screenplay, story, and the acting of lead actress Prakruti Mishra. Director Sambit Mohanty, who died shortly after filming, posthumously won a Rajat Kamal award for Best Screenplay (Dialogue).

Subodh Patnaik was a screenwriter and dialogue writer in Odia language films. He also received Odisha Sahitya Academy Award for his book 'Ho Bhagate' for category One-act play in 1990.

‌Rajeswari Ray was an Indian actress and television presenter from Odisha. She started her career as a television presenter and then appeared in popular Odia daily soaps like Basundahara, Sanskar, Devi, Swabhiman, Unasi Kanya, Kumkum, To Pain Mun, etc. In 2008 she debuted in Ollywood through Satyameba Jayate, and later appeared in two more movies like Aare Sathi Aa and Blackmail.
