John David Crow Sr. was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1957 as a halfback for the Texas A&M Aggies. After college, he played professional football in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago / St. Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers from 1958 to 1968.
Dennis Wayne Franchione, also known as Coach Fran, is a retired American football coach. He is the former head football coach at Texas State University, a position he held from 1990 to 1991, when the school was known as Southwest Texas State University, and resumed from 2011 to 2015. Franchione has also served as the head football coach at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas (1981–1982), Pittsburg State University (1985–1989), the University of New Mexico (1992–1997), Texas Christian University (1998–2000), the University of Alabama (2001–2002), and Texas A&M University (2003–2007). In his 27 seasons as a head coach in college football, Franchione won eight conference championships and one divisional crown.
National Pro Fastpitch (NPF), formerly the Women's Pro Softball League (WPSL), was a professional women's softball league in the United States. The teams battled for the Cowles Cup.
John James "Jimbo" Fisher Jr. is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies. Previously, Fisher was the head coach at Florida State, where his team won the 2014 BCS National Championship Game.
The 2007 Texas A&M Aggies football team represented Texas A&M University in the 2007 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The university, often called A&M or TAMU, is a public research university and is the flagship institution of the Texas A&M University System. It opened in 1876 as the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, the first public institution of higher education in that state. In 1963, the Texas Legislature renamed the school to Texas A&M University to reflect the institution's expanded roles and academic offerings. The letters "A&M" no longer have any explicit meaning but are retained as a link to the university's past.
The 2013 Sam Houston State Bearkats football team represented Sam Houston State University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Bearkats were led by fourth-year head coach Willie Fritz and played their home games at Bowers Stadium. They were a member of the Southland Conference.
Kyle Allen is an American football quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). Dallas Jade Escobedo is a Mexican-American, former collegiate All-American, Olympian, professional softball pitcher and coach. She played college softball for Arizona State in the from 2011 to 2014, where she led them to the 2011 Women's College World Series title and ranks in several pitching categories for both institutions. She is currently the pitching coach at Cal State Fullerton.
Derel Walker is a Canadian football wide receiver for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was named a CFL All-Star in 2015 and 2016 and received the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award in 2015. He is a Grey Cup champion after winning the 103rd Grey Cup with the Edmonton Eskimos in his rookie year. He previously attended Texas A&M University where he played college football for the Aggies.
The Scrap Yard Fast Pitch was an independent women's professional softball team based in Conroe, Texas, just north of Houston. Established in October 2015 as the Scrap Yard Dawgs, the team played in the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The Dawgs were the first NPF team to be based in the Houston area since the Texas Thunder became the Rockford Thunder in the 2007 season. In 2017, the Dawgs won their first NPF title against Pride in the best of three game series.

Previously, Glasco had been a high school softball coach, an assistant at Georgia and Texas A&M, and National Pro Fastpitch head coach with the USSSA Pride and Scrap Yard Dawgs.
Alexis Marie Smith is an American softball coach and former player. She attended Temple High School in Temple, Texas. She later attended Temple College for two years, before transferring to Texas A&M University, where she pitched for the Texas A&M Aggies softball team. During her junior season in 2017, Smith led the Aggies to the 2017 Women's College World Series first round, where they fell to UCLA, 8–2. Smith was named the pitching coach at Northwestern State University on August 12, 2021.
Holly Chase Ward is an American softball player who is currently the Assistant Head Coach at Troy. She attended Haleyville High School in Haleyville, Alabama. She later attended Mississippi State University, where she played pitcher on the Mississippi State Bulldogs softball team. While playing for Mississippi State, Ward threw a perfect game on February 9, 2018; a 10–0 victory in 5 innings over Mississippi Valley State. After graduating from Mississippi State, Ward played professional softball with the Scrap Yard Fast Pitch team in Houston, Texas.
Meagan Mckenzie May Whitley is an American, former collegiate All-American, right-handed hitting retired pro softball player originally from Spring, Texas. She attended Klein Oak High School and later attended Texas A&M University, where she played catcher on the Texas A&M Aggies softball team. She is Texas A&M softball's career leader in home runs. In 2017, her second year, she won a National Pro Fastpitch championship with the Scrap Yard Dawgs.
Isaiah Spiller is an American football running back for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M.
Zach Calzada is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Incarnate Word Cardinals. He played formerly for the Auburn Tigers. Calzada attended and played high school football at Lanier High School in Sugar Hill, Georgia and began his college career at Texas A&M before transferring to Auburn in 2022.
