Val 202 is a public-owned Slovenian radio station.
The station is the second station of the public broadcaster Radio Slovenija and one of the most listened-to stations in Slovenia. It broadcasts indie and pop music, news and phone-in programmes. Val 202 is famous for its sports coverages and commentaries.
Formerly it used to broadcast on AM frequency 1484 kHz - equal to 202 metres wavelength, hence the name Val 202 ("val" means "wave" in Slovene).
The Slovene Wikipedia is the Slovene-language edition of the free online encyclopedia Wikipedia. It has been active since 26 February 2002. On 15 August 2010, it reached 100,000 articles. As of November 2023, it has about 183,000 articles.

Mount Krim is a 1,107-meter-high mountain on the southern edge of the Ljubljana Marsh in Slovenia. Due to its location and shape, it is one of the most recognizable features of the Ljubljana Basin and it is visited each year by thousands of hikers. In the 1970s, the Yugoslav People's Army closed the summit to the public and built a radio center there. Since 1991, the summit has been open again to visitors, and there is also a small mountain lodge.

The Slovenian entry for the 2022 contest was selected via a two-stage national final organised by the Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTVSLO). The first stage EMA Freš began on 29 November 2021 with the purpose of selecting four newcomer artists to advance to the second stage EMA 2022. The national final featured twenty entries competing across two semi-finals on 5 and 12 February 2022, and the final on 19 February 2022, where a combination of jury and public voting decided the Slovenian representative in Turin among twelve entries.
Aleksander "Sašo" Hribar was a Slovenian radio and television presenter and comedian. His best-known contribution was as a satirist and impressionist on the radio show Radio Ga Ga. He was among the most popular radio personalities in Slovenia.
