Radiosarajevo.ba is popular web portal in Bosnia and Herzegovina. [1] It was founded in 2004 as web portal for newly established commercial radio station in Sarajevo, Radio Sarajevo 90.2.

Former Radio Zid - Sarajevo (89.9 FM MHz) changed its name to current Radio Sarajevo). [2]

The new name of the portal and the radio station reminds on the history of the former national public radio station in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1945-1992, called Radio Sarajevo. Today, its legal successor is national public broadcasting service, BHRT via BH Radio 1. [3]

Hum Tower

The Hum Tower is a 78.5 m (258 ft) tall telecommunication tower located on Mount Hum in the periphery of Sarajevo. The original tower was finished in the 1960s, rebuilt in the 1980s. During the Bosnian war, on 2 May 1992 it was partly destroyed by the JNA and VRS.

The COVID-19 pandemic in Bosnia and Herzegovina is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus was confirmed to have reached Bosnia and Herzegovina on 5 March 2020, when a patient in Banja Luka, who had travelled to Italy, tested positive. Later on the same day, a second case, who was the son of the first case, was reported. On 21 March, the first death in the country from COVID-19 was announced in a hospital in Bihać. The patient was an elderly woman who had been hospitalized two days before.
