A central business district (CBD) is the commercial and business center of a city. It contains commercial space and offices, and in larger cities will often be described as a financial district. Geographically, it often coincides with the "city center" or "downtown". However, these concepts are not necessarily synonymous: many cities have a central business district located away from its commercial and/or cultural center and/or downtown/city center, and there may be multiple CBDs within a single urban area. The CBD will often be highly accessible and have a large variety and concentration of specialized goods and services compared to other parts of the city.
Yongsan Garrison, meaning "dragon hill garrison", is an area located in the Yongsan District of central Seoul, South Korea. The site served as the headquarters for U.S. military forces stationed in South Korea, known as United States Forces Korea (USFK), and as United States Army Garrison Yongsan (USAG-Yongsan) until 2018, under the supervision of the U.S. Army's Installation Management Command Pacific Region. From 1910 to 1945 it served as headquarters for the Imperial Japanese Army in Korea.

The 63 Building, officially called 63 SQUARE, is a skyscraper on the island of Yeouido, overlooking the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. At 249.6 m (819 ft) high, it was the tallest building outside North America when it was opened on July 27, 1985, and it is the second-tallest gold-clad building in the world after Grand Lisboa in Macau. It stood as South Korea's tallest building until the Hyperion Tower surpassed it in 2003, but remained the country's tallest commercial building until the Northeast Asia Trade Tower was topped-out in 2009.
Yeongdeungpo District is an administrative district in southwest Seoul, South Korea. Although the origin of the name is uncertain, the first two syllables are thought to be from "yeongdeung" (靈登) or "divine ascent", a shamanic rite. The third syllable is "po", representing the bank of a river (浦), referring to the district's position on the Han River. The 2006 population was 408,819.
Dogok Station (Korean: 도곡역) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 3 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This station serves one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Korea; the Samsung Tower Palace complex, which includes one of the tallest buildings in South Korea, has a direct passageway link with the station. Another set of high-wealth residential apartments - the Dongbu Centreville - is also linked by an underground passageway. Other nearby high-wealth apartments include Dogok Rexle complex and Daechi I-Park.
Ichon Station (Korean: 이촌역) is a station in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Gyeongui–Jungang Line. This station is the closest to the National Museum of Korea, situated in the interior of Yongsan Family Park. It also serves eastern Ichon-dong, home to the largest Japanese community in South Korea with some 1,300 Japanese residents.
Dream Tower was a 665 m megatall skyscraper proposed for the new Yongsan International Business District, Seoul, South Korea. It would replace the original Triple One Tower. The Triple One Tower was supposed to be 620 meters. However, it has been renamed Dream tower, and has been redesigned.

Lotte World Tower (Korean: 롯데월드타워), is a 123-story, 555 m (1,821 ft) supertall skyscraper, located in Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is the sixth-tallest building in the world, the tallest in OECD countries, and also the first in South Korea to be over 100 stories tall.
Yongsan Dreamhub is a 28 – 31 trillion-won project that was planned to be built on the banks of the Han River near Yongsan Station at the 560,000 square metres (6,000,000 sq ft) area of the Yongsan District, central Seoul, South Korea. It was cancelled in April 2013 but has recently seen approval and plans finalised by the Seoul Metropolitan government in February 2024 with construction slated to begin in the second half of 2025. The district is scheduled to be built by 2030.
Haeundae LCT The Sharp is a major urban development project in Jung-dong, Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea. Located in front of Haeundae Beach, it consists of a 411.6 m (1,350 ft), 101-floor supertall landmark tower used as a hotel, and two 85-floor residential skyscrapers. It has an urban entertainment complex at the base housing a shopping mall, a hot spring spa and a water park. The landmark tower houses luxury and residential hotels with a convention center and an observatory on the 100th floor.
Yongsan Family Park (Korean: 용산가족공원) is a park in Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea. It is also known as Yongsan Park (용산공원).
Hyundai Global Business Center is a proposed building in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul with a planned height of 569 metres (1,867 ft) and planned floor count of 105. If completed, it will be a supertall skyscraper.
