Raga Rockers is a Norwegian rock band. The band was formed in 1982 in Oslo by vocalist Michael Krohn, bassist Livio Aiello, guitarist Bruno Hovden and drummer Jan Arne Kristiansen. Raga Rocker's musical style has evolved throughout the years and is often characterized as melodic rock with dark and satirical lyrics. The band's current lineup comprises founding members Krohn, Aiello and Kristiansen, guitarists Eivind Staxsrud and Henning Sandsdalen, and keyboardist Arne Sæther.
Raga Rockers is considered one of the "big four" Norwegian bands who popularized modern rock with Norwegian lyrics in the 1980s alongside Jokke & Valentinerne, DeLillos and DumDum Boys. [1] The band has released twelve studio albums, four live albums and two compilation albums.
Cinderella was an American rock band formed in the suburbs of Philadelphia in 1983. The band emerged in the mid-1980s with a series of multi-platinum studio albums and hit singles whose music videos received heavy MTV rotation and popularity. Kjartan Kristiansen is Norwegian musician, best known as the guitarist and backing vocalist of the Norwegian band DumDum Boys, where he also serves as lyricist and main songwriter. Kristiansen is also a member of the punk band Wannskrækk and the rock band Racer along with the other members of DumDum Boys.
Mods was a Norwegian rock band formed in Stavanger in 1980. The band recorded their first album Revansj! in 1981. The original members were vocalist Morten Abel, guitarist Runar Bjålid, guitarist Kurt Øyvind Olsen, bassist Torkild Viig, keyboardist Helge Hummervoll and drummer Leif Arne Bergvin Nilsen. After the first album, Bjålid and Olsen left the band and were replaced by Tor Øyvind Syvertsen. The second album Amerika was released in 1982. They recorded their last album, Time Machine, in 1984. They played some reunion concerts in 1990 in the Stavanger area. Morten Abel has on several occasions dismissed the band and their songs. Nevertheless, they are considered legends, especially in their home county Rogaland. Drummer Leif Nilsen later formed Leif & Kompisane, they sometimes play Mods songs live.
Serena-Maneesh is a Norwegian alternative rock band formed in Egersund in 1999. The band is led by founder and multi-instrumentalist Emil Nikolaisen and has had several different musicians contribute to their live performances and studio albums. Serena-Maneesh released two studio albums before going on a hiatus in 2010.
Kick Axe is a Canadian heavy metal band from Regina, Saskatchewan. Influenced by rambunctious arena rock from the 1970s and early 1980s, the group is perhaps best known for their 1984 album Vices, praised by publications such as AllMusic for its "down-and-dirty guitar riffs" and managing to crack the American market. The band achieved moderate commercial success in the mid-1980s on the strength of the singles "Heavy Metal Shuffle", "On the Road to Rock", "With a Little Help from My Friends" and "Rock the World". Following the release of their 1986 album Rock the World, Kick Axe disbanded and remained on hiatus for many years. In 2004, they re-emerged with the album Kick Axe IV.

Gravitasjon is the eight studio album by the Norwegian rock band DumDum Boys. Released in March 2006, it is the band's first album since 1998's Totem. The album was preceded by the lead single "Enhjørning", released in January, and debuted at number one on the Norwegian charts. It has sold over 80,000 copies. It is the band's last album to feature long-time keyboardist Atle Karlsen.
