Rahul Sharma is an Indian television actor. He is best known for his roles in the anthology series Teri Meri Love Stories and the soap operas Kaal Bhairav Rahasya , Ek Ghar Banaunga and Mitegi Laxman Rekha .

Personal life

Rahul hails from Dausa in Rajasthan and moved to Mumbai to become an actor. [1] Sharma is a science graduate who wanted to do MBA but after attending a 50-day theatre workshop at the National School of Drama in New Delhi his life changed and he decided to be an actor. [2] He has described himself as an avid traveller. [3]

He married Neha Sharma, a school teacher in Jaipur, on 22 January 2022. [4]

Career

In 2012, he played the male lead in an episode of Teri Meri Love Stories . [5] He played the role of Aakash Garg in the Star Plus TV series Ek Ghar Banaunga , [6] Raghav Roy in Sony Pal's Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi [7] and Vishesh in &TV's Mitegi Laxman Rekha opposite Shivani Tomar in 2018. [8]

His most popular onscreen jodi is opposite to Saachi Tiwari in Dangal TV's most popular show Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjaana as Rajat and Anmol, loved in the name of "Rajmol" by the audience.

Kaal Bhairav Rahasya is an Indian thriller television series. The series ran for two seasons from October 2017 to April 2019. Both seasons are based on written works of Indra Soundarrajan. The story of first season is based on his Tamil novel A Secret , The second season story is based on the supernatural thriller tale of Soundarrajan titled The Palace of Kottaipuram . The series featured different cast in each season although many cast members appeared in both seasons as different characters.

Mitegi Lakshmanrekha was an Indian television series, which aired on &TV from 28 May 2018 to 31 August 2018. The show was produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal and Sumeet Hukamchand Mittal and starred Rahul Sharma and Shivani Tomar.
