Raiffeisen Bank d.d. Bosna i Hercegovna, or simply Raiffeisen Bank, is a bank serving Bosnia and Herzegovina headquartered in Sarajevo.

Raiffeisen BANK BiH (SWIFT code: RZBABA2S) is a member Austria-based Raiffeisen Banking Group.

It is a member of Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AOD) [1] and it is supervised by FBA banking regulator based on CB BiH [2] regulations via 32 [3] branches (2024) in BiH towns.

History

On Bosnian market, after Bosnia and Herzegovina independence referendum, bank started operating in November 1992 during the Siege of Sarajevo under name Market Banka d.d. Sarajevo.

Raiffeisen Bank International in October 2000, [4] Market Banka d.d. Sarajevo become Raiffeisen Bank Bosna i Hercegovina d.d. Sarajevo (RZB BiH).

In May 2001, Raiffeisen BANK merged Hrvatska Poštanska banka Mostar d.d. to create Raiffeisen BANK HPB dd Mostar.

Under current name, Raiffeisen BANK d.d. Bosna i Hercegovina, bank operate since December 2002.
