Rajesh Munat (born 28 April 1963) is an Indian politician and former PWD and cabinet minister of Government of Chhattisgarh. He is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Munat was elected to Vidhan Sabha in 2003 by defeating then PWD minister Tarun Chatterjee by a margin of 38,000 votes and became PWD minister in Raman Singh's Cabinet. He got an additional charge from the Ministry of School Education. After winning 2008 Assembly election,he became Minister of Urban Administration,Transport and Housing. Again,he remained Minister of Transport and Housing along with PWD from year 2013 to 2019.
Ajit Pramod Kumar Jogi was an Indian politician,who has served as the 1st Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from 2000 to 2003 and a member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from Marwahi from 2018 to 2020 and from 2001 to 2013. He also served as a member of Lok Sabha from Mahasamund from 2004 to 2008 and from Raigarh from 1998 to 1999 and member of Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh from 1986 to 1998 and district collector of Raipur in Office from 1978 to 1981. Raman Singh is an Indian politician who formerly served chief minister of Chhattisgarh. He became the Chief Minister for three consecutive times and as a member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly representing Rajnandgaon since 2008 and from Dongargaon from 2004 to 2008. He also served as the 2nd and the longest serving Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh for 15 years from 2003 to 2018,Minister of State for Commerce and Industries in the Vajpayee cabinet from 1999 to 2003,Member of the Lok Sabha from Rajnanadgaon from 1999 to 2003 and a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Kawardha from 1990 to 1998.
Although India is a parliamentary democracy,the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism,possibly due to the absence of party organizations,independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party,or centralized financing of elections. Bhupesh Baghel,popularly known as Kaka,is an Indian politician who served as the 3rd Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh from 2018 to 2023. He was president of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress from 2014 to 2019. He represented the Patan constituency in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly since 2013 and from 2003 to 2008. Brijmohan Agrawal is an Indian politician from Chhattisgarh. He is a member of the Lok Sabha from Raipur. He was an eight time Member of Vidhan Sabha representing Raipur Town &later Raipur City South from 1990 till 2024. He served as minister in several departments of the Madhya Pradesh government and,after formation,the Chhattisgarh government. Most recently he was in Sai cabinet from 2023 to 2024. He is a senior member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
