Ramakrishnan Sridhar (born 16 July 1970),commonly known as R Sridhar,is a former Indian first-class cricketer and the former fielding coach of the Indian national cricket team. He played for Hyderabad cricket team from 1989/90 to 2000/01,before taking up cricket coaching in 2001.
Born in Mysore,Sridhar played as a frontline spinner for Hyderabad. From 1989/90 to 2000/01,he played 35 first-class matches and 15 List A matches for Hyderabad. Played overseas for Townville C.C in the mid Yorkshire league (England) in two separate spells. Twice mid Yorkshire league winner.
After the end of his playing career,Sridhar began his coaching career in 2001. He completed a three-level course for accreditation as a certified coach in 2007. From 2007 to 2011,he coached Hyderabad Under-19 team for three years and Hyderabad Under-16 team for one year. In 2011,he became a part of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He was then appointed the fielding coach of the India Under-19 cricket team in 2011. [1]
In February 2014,Sridhar served as the assistant coach of the India Under-19 team at the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in UAE. In April 2014,the IPL team Kings XI Punjab appointed Sridhar as the fielding coach of the team. [2] In July 2014,he was selected as the head coach of the Andhra cricket team for two years. [3] In August,he was named the fielding coach of the India national cricket team for the ODI series against England. [4] After the conclusion of the ODI series,BCCI decided to give him a longer run as the fielding coach of the team. [5] He was also the head coach of TRIPURA CRICKET ASSOCIATION. He was handed a contract extension with the India national cricket team and has ever since continued to be their fielding coach,guiding them to multiple successful tours since 2014. In 2021,after Rahul Dravid took over as head coach of the team,he was replaced by T. Dilip.
In 2023,he coached the California Knights to a 3rd place finish in the US Masters T10 tournament
Anil Kumble is an Indian former cricket captain,coach and commentator who played Test and One Day International cricket for his national team over an international career of 18 years. Widely regarded as one of the best leg spin bowlers in Test Cricket History,he took 619 wickets in Test cricket and is the fourth highest wicket taker of all time as of 2022. In 1999 while playing against Pakistan,Kumble dismissed all ten batsmen in a Test match innings,joining England's Jim Laker as the second player to achieve the feat. Unlike his contemporaries,Kumble was not a big turner of the ball,but relied primarily on pace,bounce,and accuracy. He was nicknamed "Apple" and "Jumbo". Kumble was selected as the Cricketer of the Year in 1993 Indian Cricket,and one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year three years later. Kumble was a member of the Indian team that was one of the joint-winners of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy,which the title was also shared with Sri Lanka.
Jason Neil Gillespie is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer who played all three formats of the game. A right-arm fast bowler,he was also a competent lower-order batsman whose unbeaten 201 in his last Test match is the highest score by a night-watchman in international cricket.
Yuvraj Singh is a former Indian international cricketer who played in all formats of the game. He is an all-rounder who batted left-handed in the middle order and bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He has won 7 Player of the Series awards in ODI cricket,which is joint 3rd highest by an Indian,shared with former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly. He is also the son of former Indian fast bowler and Punjabi actor Yograj Singh.
Darren Scott Lehmann is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer who coached the Australian national team. Lehmann made his ODI debut in 1996 and Test debut in 1998. He was on the fringes of national selection for the entirety of the 1990s,and only became a regular in the ODI team in 2001 and Test team in late 2002,before being dropped in early 2005. Primarily an aggressive left-handed batsman,Lehmann was also a part-time left arm orthodox bowler,and gained renown for his disregard for physical fitness and modern dietary regimes. He announced his retirement from first-class cricket in November 2007. Lehmann was a member of the Australian team that won the 1999 Cricket World Cup and the 2003 Cricket World Cup,where in the 1999 final,he scored the winning boundary,and took the winning catch in the 2003 final.
Thomas Masson Moody is a former Australian international cricketer and current Director of Cricket of Sri Lanka Cricket. He ended his long tenure with the Indian Premier League team Sunrisers Hyderabad in August 2022 and was earlier appointed Director of Cricket at Desert Vipers,one of the six franchises in the ILT20,which was scheduled to begin in the UAE in January 2023. Moody was a part of the Australian team that won their first world title during the 1987 Cricket World Cup,and their second in the 1999 Cricket World Cup.
Sunil Bandacharya Joshi is an Indian former cricketer and former selector of the India cricket team. He played as an all-rounder who bowled slow left arm spin and batted left-handed. Sunil Joshi was appointed as chief selector of the senior men's cricket team on 4 March 2020.

Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian cricketer. A left-handed opening batsman,he captains Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League and plays for Delhi in first-class cricket. At the 2013 Champions Trophy,2015 World Cup,and 2017 Champions Trophy,Dhawan was the leading run-scorer for India. He also became the first player in the history of IPL to score two back-to-back centuries. He was awarded the 'Player of the Tournament' for his exploits in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy,which he won with his national side. In the 2018 Asia Cup which Dhawan won with his national side,he was named Player Of The Tournament as he was the top scorer of the tournament with the bat.
