Rampid Interactive is a game development and game publishing company that specializes in web applications and web based games. The company was established in Dover, New Hampshire in 2002 by co-founders Christopher Bechard and Peter Simard as a game and web site developer.

Rampid Interactive's catalog includes free-to-play games such as Outwar (a browser based MMORPG) and Crowns of Power (a 3d graphical MMORPG). Rampid Interactive has also launched an online payment processing site Rampid Pay in addition to a game portal and social networking site, Rampid Gaming.

In 2009 Rampid Interactive will make their first appearance at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles on June 2–4, 2009 at the Los Angeles Convention Center as an Exhibitor. [1]

<i>Pirates of the Caribbean Online</i> 2007 video game

Pirates of the Caribbean Online was a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game based on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. It was developed and published by Disney Online, in conjunction with SilverTree Media, for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X, with additional post-release content developed by Schell Games. The game was first announced by The Walt Disney Company in April 2005, and was originally meant to coincide with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest in 2006, but its release was pushed back multiple times. The game went through two beta testing phases during 2007, and was officially released in October of that year, utilizing the Panda3D game engine. Pirates of the Caribbean Online was shut down in September 2013.

Entertainment for All Expo or E for All was a public video game trade show, created to allow the general public to see and experience new products from the video game industry. The inaugural E for All Expo was open October 18 to October 21, 2007, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Second E For All Convention took place from October 3 through October 5, 2008 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Ankama

Ankama is a French entertainment company headquartered in Roubaix, France, focused on the design of massive multiplayer online role playing games. The company is also active in publishing, animation and Web development. It was founded by Anthony Roux, Camille Chafer and Emmanuel Darras. The company name comes from their own names : ANthony, KAmille, MAnu.

OGPlanet was a publisher of free-to-play, massively multiplayer online (MMO), downloadable PC games, based in Torrance, California, with offices in Vancouver, Berlin, London and Seoul. Although their games were free-to-play, OGPlanet offered "Astros", an in-game currency that players could purchase online through Xsolla using a variety of payment methods including credit and debit cards and PayPal; Astros were used for in-game enhancements. On 29 September 2017, the final game being published by OGPlanet, Uncharted Waters Online, was shut down for transfer to Papaya Play and the OGPlanet website taken offline.

It began on June 14, 2010, and ended on June 17, 2010, with 45,600 total attendees. There was also an E3 event held in Sony's PlayStation Home.

E3 2016 E3

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 was the 22nd Electronic Entertainment Expo, during which several hardware manufacturers and software developers and publishers from the video game industry presented new and upcoming products to the attendees, primarily retailers and members of the video game press. The event, organized by the Entertainment Software Association, took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 14–16, 2016. Approximately 50,300 people attended the event, slightly down from the previous year's. With video game consoles currently a couple years into their 8th generation, the focus of E3 2016 was primarily on new software titles, with new hardware revisions and auxiliary equipment to support the growing market sectors of 4K resolution displays and virtual reality headsets.

E3 1995 Event

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 1995, commonly known as E3 1995, was the first Electronic Entertainment Expo held. The event took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 11–13, 1995, with 50,000 total attendees. Highlights of the 1995 show include Sony's announcement of the PlayStation's release date and pricing, Sega's surprise launch of the Sega Saturn, and Nintendo's showcase of the Virtual Boy console.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2020 would have been the 26th Electronic Entertainment Expo, during which hardware manufacturers, software developers, and publishers from the video game industry would have presented new and upcoming products. The event, organized by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), was to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 9–11, 2020. However, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESA announced it would cancel the event, marking the first time since the launch of E3 in 1995 that it was not held. In lieu of that, several publishers made plans to continue with presentations of game announcements during the planned E3 period, while others opted to use more traditional marketing throughout the year.
