Ranajoy Bhattacharjee [1] is an Indian music composer, singer, music producer and lyricist hailing from Kolkata, India who is associated mainly with the Bengali Film Industry. He is known for his song Preme Pora Baron from the feature film Sweater , Mon Kyamoner Jonmodin from the feature film Hridpindo, [2] [3] Geetabitan Er Dibbi from the feature film Kolkata Chalantika , [4] Nirobotay Chhilo from Mitthye Premer Gaan and many others.
Ranajoy had always been musically inclined. [5] He took a formal training in Indian Classical Vocal Music, Nazrul Geeti and Western Classical Piano. He was primarily driven to acquire degrees in statistics and computer science and then a job in the IT industry. However, he soon left the job and moved to Mumbai in 2014 to pursue full time music.

Salil Chowdhury was an Indian music director, songwriter, lyricist, writer and poet who predominantly composed for Bengali, Hindi and Malayalam films. He composed music for films in 13 languages. This includes over 75 Hindi films, 41 Bengali films, 27 Malayalam films, and a few Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Odia and Assamese films. His musical ability was widely recognised and acknowledged in the Indian film industry. He was an accomplished composer and arranger who was proficient in several musical instruments, including flute, the piano, and the esraj. He was also widely acclaimed and admired for his inspirational and original poetry in Bengali.
Madhushree is an Indian playback singer who sings in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada and Telugu films. A familiar voice in A. R. Rahman's compositions, Madhushree hails from a musically inclined family, having previously been trained in classical and western styles music. Her father wanted her to be a classical singer, she joined the Rabindra Bharati University and completed her master's degree, but her desire was always to be a playback singer.

Mirchi Music Awards are presented annually by Radio Mirchi to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Hindi language film music industry of India. The awards, given in seventeen different categories, were instituted to award the best of 2008. In 2010, the Southern edition of the awards – Mirchi Music Awards South was launched, to award the best of 2009. through which artists from the four South Indian film industries—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam—are being honoured. Shiboprosad Mukherjee is an Indian film director, writer and actor. Collaborating with Nandita Roy, he made his directing debut with the film Icche, which garnered both critical acclaim as well as commercial success. Previously, he had directed music for the television film Loadshedding in 2015, and had scored the background music for many films and webseries including the short film Ahalya, Sharate Aaj, Kaali season 1 & season 2, Feluda, Bhalobashar Shohor, Mafia and many others. He has been acclaimed for his work as a music director in the films Tangra Blues and Mukhosh(2021). As a music producer, his career spans over nine years. He is known for arranging and programming music for Anupam Roy in films like Piku, Chotushkone, Highway, Pink and many others. He is also an intrinsic part of The Anupam Roy Band, where he plays keyboards. He is also the keyboard player for the experimental bleak-rock band Enolaton and he also works as a vocalist and songwriter for the rap-metal band The Prophesor. As a keyboard player and music producer he has worked with many other bands and artists including Fossils, Ganesh Talkies, Neel and the Ligtbulbs, Zoo and many others. He was awarded Song Producer of the Year at the Mirchi Music Awards Bangla 2018 and the best music director award at WBFJA 2021.

The 4th Filmfare Awards Bangla ceremony, presented by The Times Group, honoured only the best Bengali language Indian films of 2019. 2019 onwards, Filmfare Awards East was discontinued and separate award shows were held for Bengali and Assamese Films as Filmfare Awards Bangla and Filmfare Awards Bangla, respectively. The ceremony was held on 31 March 2021 in Kolkata.
