Salil Chowdhury was an Indian music director, songwriter, lyricist, writer and poet who predominantly composed for Bengali, Hindi and Malayalam films. He composed music for films in 13 languages. This includes over 75 Hindi films, 41 Bengali films, 27 Malayalam films, and a few Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Odia and Assamese films. His musical ability was widely recognised and acknowledged in the Indian film industry. He was an accomplished composer and arranger who was proficient in several musical instruments, including flute, the piano, and the esraj. He was also widely acclaimed and admired for his inspirational and original poetry in Bengali.
Madhushree is an Indian playback singer who sings in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada and Telugu films. A familiar voice in A. R. Rahman's compositions, Madhushree hails from a musically inclined family, having previously been trained in classical and western styles music. Anupam Roy is an Indian singer-songwriter, music director, composer, songwriter, guitarist, playback singer from Kolkata, India. He made his debut with Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao & Benche Thakar Gaan, which appeared on the soundtrack of the 2010 Bengali film Autograph. Since then, he has gone on to compose, write lyrics and sing for many Bengali films.
Mirchi Music Awards are presented annually by Radio Mirchi to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Hindi language film music industry of India. The awards, given in seventeen different categories, were instituted to award the best of 2008. In 2010, the Southern edition of the awards – Mirchi Music Awards South was launched, to award the best of 2009. through which artists from the four South Indian film industries—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam—are being honoured. In 2012, the Bengali edition of the awards – Mirchi Music Awards Bangla was launched, to award the best of 2011. The 2019 Mirchi Music Awards is co-powered by Smule, the world's largest music social network, and will have the winner of the Smule Mirchi Cover Star perform on stage at the event.

Shiboprosad Mukherjee is an Indian film director, writer and actor. He also serves as a partner at Windows Productions. His film Praktan, bagged multiple National Awards and Alik Sukh was premiered at the Marche du Film section in Cannes Film Festival in 2013. His film Konttho was selected as the Indian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.
Souvik Gupta, known as "Savvy", is an Indian music director who has composed and sung songs for Bengali movies from both West Bengal and Bangladesh.
Arka Sinha/Orko Sinha is an Indian film maker, actor, writer, lyricist, singer, composer, producer and a former computer science engineer from the movie industry of West Bengal, Kolkata. He marked his debut with Aamar Aami in December 2013. The script-screenplay-lyrics-dialogues and direction of the film were all by Orko.

Nabarun Bose is an Indian keyboard player, composer and music producer from Kolkata, West Bengal. He made his debut as a music director in 2018 with the feature film Rainbow Jelly. Previously, he had directed music for the television film Loadshedding in 2015, and had scored the background music for many films and webseries including the short film Ahalya, Sharate Aaj, Kaali season 1 & season 2, Feluda, Bhalobashar Shohor, Mafia and many others. He has been acclaimed for his work as a music director in the films Tangra Blues and Mukhosh(2021). As a music producer, his career spans over nine years. He is known for arranging and programming music for Anupam Roy in films like Piku, Chotushkone, Highway, Pink and many others. He is also an intrinsic part of The Anupam Roy Band, where he plays keyboards. He is also the keyboard player for the experimental bleak-rock band Enolaton and he also works as a vocalist and songwriter for the rap-metal band The Prophesor. As a keyboard player and music producer he has worked with many other bands and artists including Fossils, Ganesh Talkies, Neel and the Ligtbulbs, Zoo and many others. He was awarded Song Producer of the Year at the Mirchi Music Awards Bangla 2018 and the best music director award at WBFJA 2021.
Soukarya Ghosal is an Indian filmmaker, director, screenwriter, illustrator and music composer. He is widely considered for his work in Rainbow Jelly, a food fantasy film for the children in Bengali Cinema. His first feature film was Pendulum, bagged three awards in the 4th Mirchi Music Awards Bangla 2014 by Radio Mirchi.

Acropoliis Entertainment Private Limited has 4 creative directors/key management personnel- Snigdha Sumit Basu, Sumit Tinkari Basu, Rajnish Jaichandra Hedao and Sani Ghose Ray. They started off with shows like "Agnipariksha" and "Rashi", and went on to produce many more popular shows on Bengali Television, the most notable ones being- Bodhuboron, Raaikishori, Milon Tithi, Aamar Durga, Bokul Kotha, Irabotir Chupkotha, Sanjher Baati, Mon Phagun, and Gaatchora.
The 4th Filmfare Awards Bangla ceremony, presented by The Times Group, honoured only the best Bengali language Indian films of 2019. 2019 onwards, Filmfare Awards East was discontinued and separate award shows were held for Bengali and Assamese Films as Filmfare Awards Bangla and Filmfare Awards Bangla, respectively. The ceremony was held on 31 March 2021 in Kolkata.
