Al Wakrah is the capital city of the Al Wakrah Municipality in Qatar. Al Wakrah's eastern edge touches the shores of the Persian Gulf and Qatar's capital Doha is situated to the city's immediate north. Governed by Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, it was originally a small fishing and pearling village. Over the years, it evolved into a small city with a population of more than 80,000 and is currently considered the second most populous city in Qatar.
Ad Dawhah al Jadidah is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Ad Dawhah. It is bordered to the north by Mushayrib, Fereej Al Asmakh and Barahat Al Jufairi, to the east by Old Al Ghanim, to the south by Najma and Fereej Bin Durham, and to the west by Fereej Abdel Aziz.

Old Airport is an area of Doha, Qatar. The district is located close to the site of Doha's old international airport servicing Qatar before the construction of the Hamad International Airport. Running through the district is Al Matar Al Qadeem Street, around which many businesses and retailers cater to the residents of the area. The first mall constructed in Qatar is also located within the district, next to the congested Najma roundabout.
The Doha Metro is a rapid transit system in Doha, Qatar's capital city, which became operational on 8 May 2019. It has three lines with an approximate overall length of 76 km (47 mi) and 37 stations. It is an integral component of the larger Qatar Rail network, which will include a long-distance rail for passengers and freight, linking Qatar to the GCC, and the Lusail LRT. Capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph), the Doha Metro has one of the fastest driverless trains in the world.
Al Wukair is a town in Qatar, located in Al Wakrah Municipality. It is 19 minutes away from Doha and is located near the city of Al Wakrah. It was previously a prominent fishing and pearling village. It was demarcated in 1988. The gated compounds of Ezdan Village house a substantial part of the town's population.
Ras Abu Fontas is a coastal industrial area in Doha on the boundary with Al Wakrah Municipality in Qatar. The government has designated the district as a free economic zone starting in 2019.
Al Wakra station is the southern terminus of the Doha Metro's Red Line. It serves Al Wakrah Municipality, namely Al Wakrah City and Al Wukair.
Free Zone station is a station of the Doha Metro's Red Line. It serves the Al Wakrah Municipality, namely Al Wakrah City, Ras Abu Fontas and Barwa Village. It is located near Airforce Interchange, which is the crossing of F Ring Road and Al Wakrah Road.
Lusail station is the northern terminus of the Doha Metro's Red Line and serves the city of Lusail. The station is located on Al Khor Coastal Road.
Al Riffa station is the western terminus of the Doha Metro's Green Line and serves the municipality of Al Rayyan. It is located on Dukhan Highway, opposite the Mall of Qatar, in the newly developed Rawdat Al Jahhaniya district.
Al Shaqab station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line. Irrespective of its name, the station is located on Huwar Street in Old Al Rayyan, but is near the border with Al Shaqab. It serves the municipality of Al Rayyan, specifically Education City, Al Shaqab, Old Al Rayyan, Al Luqta and the suburb of Ain Al Rakheesa.
Al Rayyan Al Qadeem station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line. It serves the municipality of Al Rayyan, specifically Old Al Rayyan, Lebday, and other suburbs of Al Rayyan City. It is situated on Al Rayyan Al Qadeem Street in the Lebday district.
Al Messila station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line. It serves the districts on the border between Doha and Al Rayyan, specifically Al Messila, Al Sadd, New Al Hitmi, and Lebday. It is found on Al Rayyan Road in Al Sadd, across the street from Al Sadd's boundary with Al Messila.
Hamad Hospital station is a station on the Doha Metro's Green Line in Qatar. It is found on Al Rayyan Road in the Al Sadd district of Doha, opposite Hamad Hospital in Hamad Medical City. It serves both the aforementioned districts.
Al Bidda station is an interchange station between the Doha Metro's Green Line and the Red Line located in Al Bidda Park in the Al Bidda district. The station also serves Mushayrib, Fereej Bin Mahmoud, Rumeilah and Al Jasrah.
Al Mansoura station is the current eastern terminus station on the Doha Metro's Green Line. It serves the Al Mansoura and Najma districts. It is found on Al Mansoura Street in the Fereej Bin Dirham District, to the immediate north of Al Mansoura's northern boundary line.
Umm Besher is a district located in the municipality of Al Wakrah in Qatar, near the municipality's border with Doha.
