Ratna Ghoshal is an Indian film and television actress. She began her career as a supporting actress. She set foot in the world of acting through the film Raja Rammohun.

Career

Raja Rammohun directed by Bijoy Bose in 1965 was her debut film. Before starring in the lead roles, she acted in the supporting roles for 1967 films Devi Tirtha Kamrup Kamakhya and Kedar Raja. She played her first lead role in the film Panna Hire Chunni in 1969. [2] She is also active in performing at Bengali theatres [3] and has worked with Soumitra Chatterjee and others. [4] [5]

Sarbojaya is a 2021 Indian Bengali language drama television series which premiered on 9 August 2021 on Bengali general entertainment channel Zee Bangla. The show is produced by Snehasish Chakraborty of Blues Productions and stars Debasree Roy, Kushal Chakraborty and Sanghamitra Talukdar. This show marked the comeback of Debashree Roy in the television industry after 25 years. The show went off air on 14 May 2022 due to low viewership and was replaced by Khelna Bari.
