Ray DiLauro (born July 13, 1979) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 9th round (246th overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. [2] [3] [4]
After playing Youth Hockey for the Philadelphia Glaciers and Tier III Junior "A" Ice Hockey for the Philadelphia Little Flyers, DiLauro played High School Ice Hockey for the National Sports Academy in Lake Placid, New York. [4]
DiLauro then attended St. Lawrence University where he played four seasons of NCAA Division I Ice Hockey with the Saint Lawrence Saints from 1998-2002. [2] [4] While at St. Lawrence, DiLauro served as an Alternate Captain during the 2001-02 season, won the 2002 Pete McGeough Award as the team's outstanding Defenseman, and won both the 2000 ECAC Championship and the 2001 ECAC Championship. [2]
During his Professional Ice Hockey career, DiLauro played in the American Hockey League with the Cleveland Barons, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, Springfield Falcons, Manchester Monarchs, and Binghamton Senators. [5] [6] He also played in the ECHL for the Trenton Titans, Fresno Falcons, Wheeling Nailers, Columbus Cottonmouths, and Reading Royals. [6] In addition, he played in the Central Hockey League for the Missouri Mavericks, the German Deutsche Eishockey Liga for Füchse Duisburg and Krefeld Pinguine, the Austrian Hockey League for EHC Linz, the Italian Serie A for HC Bolzano, and in Asia League Ice Hockey for the Japanese club Nippon Paper Cranes. For the 2013–14 season, DiLauro joined the Philadelphia Revolution Ice Hockey organization. [8] With the Revolution, he served as Head Coach of the organizations's U16 team which competed in the Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League, and also as a coach for the organization's Pee Wee team competing in the Full Check Hockey League. The Wheeling Nailers are an ECHL ice hockey team based in Wheeling, West Virginia. They are the ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.
Brian Christopher Rafalski is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings, in the SM-liiga for HPK and HIFK, in the Elitserien for Brynäs IF, and in the ECHL for the Florida Everblades.
The Trenton Titans were a professional minor league ice hockey team that played in the ECHL. The team last played in the Atlantic Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference. The Titans played their home games at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, New Jersey. Established in 1999, the team was owned by Delaware Valley Sports Group LLC, a local ownership group. They were most recently the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers and the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms.
Maxime Ouellet is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals and Vancouver Canucks from 2000 to 2006. He also played several years in the American Hockey League, retiring in 2009. Internationally he played for the Canadian national junior team at both the 2000 and 2001 World Junior Championships, winning a bronze medal each year.
Brad Tapper is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Atlanta Thrashers over parts of three seasons. After retiring from playing, he remained active in hockey as a coach. He is currently an assistant coach with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League (AHL). Prior to that, Tapper spent a year as the head coach of the Adirondack Thunder in the ECHL, and previously was an assistant coach with the Rochester Americans (AHL), Chicago Wolves (AHL), Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), and Florida Everblades (ECHL).
David Thomas Gove was an American ice hockey player and head coach of the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. He last played with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL) during the 2008–09 season. Though he primarily played in the minor leagues, Gove did appear in two games with the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL) between 2005 and 2007.
Randolph John Velischek is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played ten seasons in the National Hockey League from 1982–83 until 1991–92 for the Minnesota North Stars, New Jersey Devils, and Quebec Nordiques. Randy Velischek was drafted 53rd overall by the North Stars in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He played 509 career NHL games, scoring 21 goals and 97 points.
The Toledo Walleye are a professional ice hockey team based in Toledo, Ohio. The Walleye are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the ECHL. The Walleye were founded in 1991 as the Toledo Storm and play their home games at the Huntington Center, which opened in 2009. Since the beginning of the 2009–10 season, the team has been affiliated with the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League and the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League with an agreement in place through the 2020–21 season.
