De'Mario Monte Thornton (born June 13, 1985), known as Raz-B, is an American singer and actor, He is a founding member of R&B boy band B2K.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Raz B was a creator and member of the group B2K as a teen. During his time in the group, B2K released their album, Pandemonium! , and performed on an accompanying tour. The group’s first feature film, You Got Served , was released in 2004, shortly before they announced their break-up.
Distributed through his own production company, RazBeatz Entertainment, Raz released his first single, Fire, in May 2007. Fire officially debuted on the Billboard charts (the week of 5/12/07). Landing a spot on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales chart and debuting at #2, it also hit the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart at #2. [1] There was no promotion behind the single as it debuted, because Raz B was pushing his music on an independent level.
On March 19, 2010, Raz B released his first mixtape titled Boy 2 King. In 2011, Elayne Rivers, Raz B's longtime publicist, announced that he would be going on tour in China. Throughout the tour, Raz B performed shows in various parts of China.
On August 19, 2013, during a performance in Zhejiang province, Raz B tried to stop a fight in the audience and was hit in the face with a glass bottle. Initial reports were that he had fallen into a coma, [2] but subsequent reports were that this was misinformation, labelled as a hoax, [3] [4] and that he would make a full recovery.

B2K was an American boy band that was active from 1998 to 2004, and again from 2018 to 2019. In 1998, the group was formed by American dance choreographer Dave Scott and Interscope A&R Keshia Gamble. The members consisted of Lil' Fizz, J-Boog, Raz-B, and Omarion. The group released their self-titled debut album on March 12, 2002. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the U.S. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
Omari Ishmael Grandberry, better known by his stage name Omarion, is an American R&B singer, dancer and actor. He rose to prominence as lead vocalist of the boy band B2K, which was formed in 1998 and managed by record executive Chris Stokes. The group achieved success in the early 2000s with their singles "Gots ta Be", "Uh Huh", "Girlfriend", and the Billboard Hot 100-number one hit "Bump, Bump, Bump".
John David Jackson, better known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American rapper. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition for his ability upon performing live on DJ Clue's Hot 97 radio show. Jackson then signed to Clue's record label Desert Storm Records, in a joint venture with Elektra Records. He rose to further prominence with his debut studio album Ghetto Fabolous (2001), which spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" and "Young'n ." Adopting a further commercially-oriented approach, his second album, Street Dreams (2003), was supported by the singles "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You" —both of which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
Tremaine Aldon Neverson, known professionally as Trey Songz, is an American R&B singer, songwriter and actor. He was discovered by record producer Troy Taylor in 2003, and signed with his label, Songbook Entertainment, in a joint venture with Atlantic Records that same year. His debut studio album, I Gotta Make It (2005), entered the Billboard 200 at number 20, while his second album, Trey Day (2007), peaked at number 11. The latter was supported by the single "Can't Help but Wait", which peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. His third album, Ready (2009), peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, spawned the Billboard Hot 100-top ten single "Say Aah", and was nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.
Mario Sentell Giden Mims, known professionally as Yo Gotti, is an American rapper, singer, and music executive. In 1996, he released his debut album Youngsta's on a Come Up under the alias Lil Yo. "Uh Huh" is the first single by R&B group B2K, from their self-titled debut album. The song was released in July 2001 and it peaked at number 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 20 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. It also peaked at number 35 in the UK on its first entry and reached a new peak at number 31 on a re-release.

Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo is an American R&B singer-songwriter and rapper. Aiko embarked on her musical career in 2002, as a backing vocalist and music video performer for the R&B group B2K. She was signed by their record label, The Ultimate Group that same year and was marketed as the "cousin" of B2K member Lil' Fizz to cultivate her own following, although they are not related. Her debut album, slated for a 2003 release through the label with Epic Records, was shelved due to Aiko instead further pursuing her education.

The song was included on the special edition of the album, which was released in March 2003.
