Realivox is a voice synthesizer.
The software allows editing and adjustment of sounds. The software comes in two forms, although both aim at achieving similar goals. It is also able to work with Kontakt.
Richard Leiter, at Keyboard magazine, commented that both products give an uncanny realistic result that had an "effortless" learning curve. He, however, commented that singers like Adele need not worry about the package's results. He felt the product was best suited for solo lines and backup singers, offering a product at the price that would cost more to do the same effort with real singers for a single vocal recording session. In 2014, they were the second leading company in sound related software in Japan, boasting a 14.0% share of the market.
The Macne series (Mac音シリーズ) is a series of voice banks designed for Reason and GarageBand, music sequencer software for the Macintosh operating system, developed by MI7 Japan and distributed by Act2. They are sold under an Open-source license. Following the release of the Vocaloid "Neo" version for the Mac, several hints were left on Macne Nana's Twitter that an official Vocaloid voicebank was in progress. It was confirmed and announced later in October 2013 that Macne Nana would be released for both the Vocaloid 3 software and the Vocaloid Neo software on January 31, 2014.
Cantor was a vocal singing synthesizer software released four months after the original release of Vocaloid by the company VirSyn, and was based on the same idea of synthesizing the human voice. It was originally released for the Vocaloid 2 engine. The fan design "Roro" which is illustrated by song producer Manbou no Ane, is commonly used to represent VY2. VY2 also has a Falsetto Voicebank that allows users to make higher pitched songs with its voice. VY2's voice bank is often used with the VY1 voice bank.
