Reba Monica John (born 4 February 1994) is an Indian actress and model who works prominently in Tamil and Malayalam films and worked in few Telugu and Kannada films. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Early life and personal life

Reba Monica John was born on 4 February 1994 [5] into a Malayalee family in Bangalore. [6] [7] She married Joemon Joseph in 2022. [8]

Career

Before essaying a guest role in the film, she was seen in a few advertisements in which Dhatri Hair Oil was one of her notable works. In 2013, she won the 2nd runner-up title of the reality series Midukki , which launched on Mazhavil Manorama.[ citation needed ]

In 2016, she made her debut in the Malayalam film industry through Jacobinte Swargarajyam , directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. [9] She essayed the role of "Chippy" in the film, co-starring Nivin Pauly. The movie was a big success at the box office and her second movie with Neeraj Madhav, Paippin Chuvattile Pranayam , also became a hit at the box office. It was directed by Domin d'Silva, with music by Bijibal.[ citation needed ]

Oru Vadakkan Selfie is a 2015 Indian Malayalam-language road-comedy film directed by G. Prajith and scripted by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The film features Nivin Pauly, Manjima Mohan, Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav and Vineeth Sreenivasan. The music was composed by Shaan Rahman. It was released on 27 March to positive reviews, and became one of the biggest grossing Malayalam films of the year. Some news media and the Kerala Film Producers Association called it the first successful Malayalam film of 2015. This movie marks the debut of Manjima Mohan as an actress in Malayalam movie; earlier, she played a child in films including Priyam and Sundara Purushan.
