Rebecca Levene is a British author and editor. She is the author of The Hollow Gods fantasy novel series. In the 1990s, she was an editor at Virgin Books, including notably of the New Adventures series.
Levene had a sitcom optioned, but never produced by the BBC. [1]
Her first novel, Where Angels Fear , was co-written with Simon Winstone, her deputy and successor on the New Adventures. [2] More recently, she has written for publisher Black Flame, including a Strontium Dog novel Bad Timing and a Final Destination novel End of the Line. [3]
In 2014, she published Smiler's Fair, the first in a fantasy series The Hollow Gods published by Hodder & Stoughton. [4] The second novel in the series The Hunter's Kind was published in July 2015, [5] followed by The Sun's Domain. [6]
She worked on the storyline and script for the Zombies, Run! smart phone app. [7]

Strontium Dog is a long-running British comics series starring Johnny Alpha, a mutant bounty hunter who lives in Earth's future. The series was created in 1978 by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra for Starlord, a short-lived weekly science fiction comic. When Starlord was cancelled, the series transferred to the British science fiction weekly 2000 AD. In 1980, Wagner was joined by co-writer Alan Grant, although scripts were normally credited to Grant alone. Grant wrote the series by himself from 1988 to 1990. Wagner revived the series after a ten-year hiatus in 2000. After Ezquerra's death in October 2018, the series was put in indefinite hiatus with no current plans for its continuation.
