Background

Recon was a Christian power metal band that originated in Los Angeles in 1987. The band has been compared to fellow Christian power metal bands, such as Stryper, Saint and Sacred Warrior. [1] [4] Many of the past members have been in bands such as Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, Worldview and Shades of Crimson. The band later became Worldview in 2013, stated by former Recon and Sacred Warrior vocalist Rey Perra [5] along with George Ochoa.

Vengeance Rising was an American Christian thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California. Fronted by vocalist Roger Martinez, they originally formed as Vengeance in 1987, but changed their name in 1989 to avoid conflict with another band from the Netherlands. Band members Larry Farkas, Doug Thieme, Roger Dale Martin, and Glen Mancaruso left following Once Dead and formed the band Die Happy. Roger Martinez stayed on to record two more studio albums, but aside from him, Vengeance Rising's lineup changed for each subsequent album. While the group was a ground breaking Christian metal band, today Vengeance Rising is known for vocalist Martinez's turning from Christianity to Satanism to atheism. AllMusic describes Vengeance Rising's history as "one of the most entertaining and bizarre stories in the realm of heavy metal."

Conceived in Fire is the sixth album by the Christian metalcore band Living Sacrifice. It was the band's final album before 2008 when the band reunited, minus Percussionist Matthew Putman.

Nailed Promise is a Christian metal band from Fort Worth, Texas. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Nathan Garcia, drummer Matthew Miller, and brothers, guitarist Travis Brown and bassist Ryan Brown. The band signed to Rescue Records, a record label owned by Noah Bernardo Sr. with bands including Point of Recognition, Dogwood, and P.O.D. The band was active from 1994/1995 until 2001-2002.

Grave Declaration is a Christian black metal band that originated in Norway. The band formed in September 2006 as a solo project of Thor Georg Buer, formerly of Antestor. He later on hired other musicians including his former Antestor band mates, Ronny Hansen and Jo Henning Børven.

Released Upon the Earth is the fourth album of the thrash metal band, Vengeance Rising. The album was later re-released in 2015, remastered and expanded. The only official members of the band at this point were founder Roger Martinez and new drummer Johnny Vasquez, who would later play with Mortification, when they first came to America, Tooth n’ Nail recording artists The Blamed, and Time Spent Burning Alongside Vasquez, on this album, Steve Rowe performed guest vocals on the track "Tion"
