Worldview is an American Christian metal band, [1] while they make heavy metal, power metal, and progressive metal music, [2] [3] and they started making music together in 2013. [4] [5] They have released one studio album, The Chosen Few (2015), with M24 Music Group. [6]
The band originated in Los Angeles, California, in January 2013, after the death of a mutual friend, Rick Macias, who was the keyboardist for Sacred Warrior. [4] Worldviews lead vocalist, Rey Parra, also a member of Sacred Warrior with Marcias, and George Rene Ochoa, a guitarist, keyboardist, and background vocalist for Worldview, also played in bands such as Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, Mortification, and Recon. Other members of Worldview consisted of bassist and keyboardist, Todd Libby and drummer, Johnny Gonzales. [2] [4] Ronson Webster, a singer-songwriter and former keyboardist for Recon and Barren Cross, [4] took on the role as lead vocalist for the band in 2019. Webster has co-wrote several songs with Ochoa such as "Alive", "Lost Soldier", "Take Us Away", "Mortality", "The Mirror", "Prisoner of Pain", "Back in Time", "Illusions of Love" and "The Chosen Few". Webster also sang background vocals on albums; Recon - Behind Enemy Lines and Worldview - The Chosen Few.

Slave was an American Ohio-based funk band popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Trumpeter and multi-instrumentalist Steve Washington, born in New Jersey, attended East Orange High School, and was one of the first users of the "electric trumpet". He and Trombonist Floyd Miller formed the group in Dayton, Ohio, in 1975.

Vengeance Rising was an American Christian thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California. Fronted by vocalist Roger Martinez, they originally formed as Vengeance in 1987, but changed their name in 1989 to avoid conflict with another band from the Netherlands. Band members Larry Farkas, Doug Thieme, Roger Dale Martin, and Glen Mancaruso left following Once Dead and formed the band Die Happy. Roger Martinez stayed on to record two more studio albums, but aside from him, Vengeance Rising's lineup changed for each subsequent album. While the group was a ground breaking Christian metal band, today Vengeance Rising is known for vocalist Martinez's turning from Christianity to Satanism to atheism. AllMusic describes Vengeance Rising's history as "one of the most entertaining and bizarre stories in the realm of heavy metal."
Room V is the fifth album by the progressive metal group Shadow Gallery, released in 2005. It continues the story started in Tyranny, picking up after Tyranny's Act II. It is the band's first album not featuring longtime keyboardist Chris Ingles, although he did have input in the album's writing process before his departure. It is also their last album to feature longtime lead vocalist Mike Baker, who died of a heart attack in 2008.
