Red Cord Records is an American record label from Rockford, Illinois. The label started in September 2008, [3] but went on hiatus in 2014. [4] The label signed bands including Phinehas, [5] Random Hero, [6] Inhale Exhale, [7] [8] [9] and Bloodline Severed.
Red Cord Records started in 2008. They signed hardcore punk bands such as A Past Unknown and From the Eyes of Servants, [10] rock bands such as This City Awaits, [11] metalcore bands such as Inhale Exhale, [7] [8] [9] and deathcore/death metal acts like Your Chance to Die [12] and Solomon. [13] In 2011, the label aligned themselves with Victory Records for distribution purposes. [1] The label signed a few more bands including Least of These [14] and This City Awaits in 2014. [11]
Solid State Records is a metalcore record label, an imprint of Tooth & Nail Records. Unlike Tooth & Nail, Solid State signs hardcore punk and heavy metal bands. Like Tooth & Nail, Solid State is primarily a Christian label. However, it signed several bands with Christian members which don't label themselves as Christian bands, including Stretch Arm Strong, Gwen Stacy, He Is Legend, the Famine, Training for Utopia, and the Agony Scene.

Miss May I is an American metalcore band from Troy, Ohio. Formed in 2007, they signed to Rise Records in 2008 and released their debut album, Apologies Are for the Weak through the label while the members were still attending high school. The album reached 76 on the Billboard 200, No. 29 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers, and No. 66 on Top Independent Albums. The band has also had some of their material featured in big name productions; the song "Forgive and Forget" is featured on the Saw VI Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, and their song "Apologies Are for the Weak" is included in the video game Saints Row: The Third.
Advent is a hardcore band from Kernersville, North Carolina. The band featured members of an earlier post-hardcore band named Beloved, and was formed in 2005 after the break of Beloved. The band had released two albums under the label Solid State Records. The band announced in July 2011 that they had disbanded, and held two final shows on September 2 and 3 in South Carolina and North Carolina, respectively. The band, as of 2015, had reunited and is releasing a new album titled, Pain and Suffering. The band has recently signed to Bridge 9. The group has been called "...one of the state's heaviest exports..."
