Education in Canada is for the most part provided publicly, and is funded and overseen by provincial, territorial and local governments. Education is within provincial jurisdiction and the curriculum is overseen by the province. Education in Canada is generally divided into primary education, followed by secondary education and post-secondary. Within the provinces under the ministry of education, there are district school boards administering the educational programs.
The University of Windsor is a public research university in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It is Canada's southernmost university. It has approximately 12,000 full-time and part-time undergraduate students and 4,000 graduate students. The university was incorporated by the provincial government in 1962 and has more than 135,000 alumni.
Colonel By Secondary School is an Ottawa-Carleton District School Board high school. It is located in the Beacon Hill neighbourhood of Gloucester in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is a non-semestered school, and was the only English public school in Ottawa that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme until Merivale High School began its IB programme in September 2019. Colonel By is renowned locally and provincially as an academically rigorous school. In the 2018–19 school year, it was ranked the sixth best secondary school in Ontario by the Fraser Institute.

Merivale High School is a public high school, located at the intersection of Merivale Road and Viewmount Drive in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Bluevale Collegiate Institute is a secondary school in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, run by the Waterloo Region District School Board. As of the 2019–2020 school year, Bluevale has an enrollment of 1,240 students. The school opened in 1972 under the direction of principal Robert Chilton, and vice-principal Charlie Wilson, initially with grades 9 through 11, adding grades 12, and then 13 in subsequent years. Bluevale's new school boundary took in students previously registered at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute, Kitchener–Waterloo Collegiate, and Waterloo Collegiate Institute. As of 2022, the principal is Deborah Tyrrell.
A. Y. Jackson Secondary School is a community high school in the Glen Cairn neighbourhood of Kanata, a suburb in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and was first opened in 1976. The school was named after A. Y. Jackson, the famous Canadian painter, and one of the founders of the Group of Seven.
Brampton Centennial Secondary School (BCSS) is a public high school located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and is part of the Peel District School Board. In September 2008, BCSS had 1,775 students.

Thorold Secondary School, often referred to as "TSS," is a public secondary school in Thorold, Ontario, Canada. The school was named after Sir John Thorold, a member of the British Parliament for Lincolnshire, England. Despite its moderate size, the school consistently is among the top in the regional athletics for the DSBN.
Woodland Christian High School (WCHS) is a secondary school located in Breslau, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1976 by a group of churches in the Cambridge area, Woodland provides Christian-based education. For several years, it operated from several Church facilities in the Cambridge and Kitchener–Waterloo areas. In 1979, the school moved into its current location. The facility has had multiple expansions and renovations which took place in 2002 and 2014.

The Alberta Schools' Athletic Association (ASAA) is the governing body that oversees amateur athletics in schools for the province of Alberta. It is a voluntary, non profit organization that has 373 member high schools. It enforces policies as dictated by the provincial board of Governors.
St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School or St. FX is a high school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in the Ottawa Catholic School Board. The school serves grades 7-12 and opened in 2009. It is located in Gloucester and mainly serves the communities of Riverside South and Gloucester.
Ashbury College is an independent day and boarding school located in the Rockcliffe Park area of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was originally founded in 1891 by former faculty of Bishop's College School in Quebec to accommodate BCS students living in Ottawa. Ashbury College moved to its current location in 1910. Previously, it occupied what now houses Senate of Canada offices. It is an International Baccalaureate World School, a member of the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools, and a member of Round Square. The school currently enrolls approximately 550 senior and 150 junior students. The current Head of School is Norman Southward, with Kendal Young directing the Junior School and Gary Godkin as the Head of Senior School.
Craig Kielburger Secondary School, commonly referred to as C.K is a high school in Milton, Ontario, Canada. The two-storey school features barrier-free accessibility, a triple gym, studio/theatre, food school and technical education facilities and the IB Diploma program. This school replaces E.C. Drury High School which closed in June 2012. The school is named after Craig Kielburger who founded Free the Children. Kielburger visited the school for the grand opening October 9, 2012.
Hamilton District Christian High is an independent Christian day school in Ancaster, Ontario Canada. As a registered private school with the Ontario Ministry of Education the school provides a curriculum that follows Ministry guidelines and standards through a Christ-centred, project-based learning approach. The academic program runs from grade 9 to grade 12.
Hudson College is a co-educational, non-denominational private school for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. It is situated on a 4.5-acre campus in the former Earlscourt Junior Public School in central Toronto, Ontario.
