Rehana Begum is an artisan from India. She is resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in India, and is an expert in Chikan (embroidery) work. She was born in 1952 and learnt the craft from her father, Hasan Mirza. Her work is on displayed at Craft Museum of Uttar Pradesh. She has participated in many exhibitions.

She was conferred Shilp Guru award by Government of India for her outstanding work. [1]

The Shilp Guru is the highest honour in the Indian handicrafts sector awarded by Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It is conferred annually upon 10 master craftspersons who have created an exceptional piece of craft work, showcased highest level of quality and skill in the traditional Indian handicrafts and passed on their skills to the next generation of artisans.

Badri Lal Chitrakar was an Indian traditional painter and dealer in antiquities. He was presented with the National Award in 1987, and the Shilp Guru award on 9 September 2006. He lived and worked for most of his life in Bhilwara, a town in Rajasthan, India.

Mohanlal Chaturbhuj Kumhar is an artisan of Rajasthan. He won the Shilp Guru award in 2003 for his skills in terracotta sculpture. Born in 1939 he is resident of Nathdwara. In 23rd Surajkund Crafts Mela. Mohan Lal Chaturbhuj of Rajasthan was also awarded the Kalamani for his works in terracotta. He has participated in promoting this traditional art in various countries like Spain, USA and Australia. The Government of India awarded him the civilian honour of Padma Shri in 2012.
