Renu, professionally credited as Renadive is an Indian cinematographer, who works in Malayalam cinema.

Early life

Born in Kunnamkulam, on 30 August 1979 as the son of Kallayil Vijayaraghavan, a photographer and Shyamala Vijayaraghavan. Renu holds a diploma in still photography from Indian Institute of Photography. He has worked for Kairali TV channel as a cameraman and covered 148 episodes of Verittakazhchakal with V. K. Sreeraman.

Career

In 2006, he joined cinematographer Alagappan as an assistant cinematographer for the film Agnisakshi (1999 film) , followed by films such as Photographer (film), Novel (film), Thalappavu. Later he joined cinematographer Jibu Jacob and worked with him in movies namely Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, Pranayakalam, Heartbeats. In 2007 he joined the team of Big B (film) and worked as an assistant cinematographer to Sameer Thahir. He also worked in Anwar (2010 film) as an assistant cinematographer. From there on till present has been a part of every single movie directed and produced by Amal Neerad. His talent came into light when he debuted as a Cinematographer in 5 Sundarikal, anthology of 5 movies directed by different directors in which he was the DOP for Kullante Bharya. He was the Associate cameraman and operating cameraman for the next Amal Neerad venture Iyobinte Pusthakam. He is done the Cinematography for Amal Neerad's Comrade in America. [1] [2]

5 Sundarikal is a Malayalam romantic anthology film. It contains five short stories on love about five types of women. The stories are directed by Shyju Khalid, Sameer Thahir, Aashiq Abu, Amal Neerad, and Anwar Rasheed, and feature an ensemble cast. The film was produced by Amal Neerad Productions. The music directors were Gopi Sundar, Bijibal, Prashant Pillai and Yakzan Gary Pereira. The film reached theatres on 21 June. A promo song by popular Kochi-based rock band Black Letters was also released.

Vivek Harshan is an Indian film editor who works predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil films. He has frequently collaborated with Amal Neerad, M. <i>Varathan</i> 2018 Indian film

Varathan (transl. Outsider) is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film written by Suhas-Sharfu and directed by Amal Neerad, who jointly produced with Nazriya Nazim under the banners of Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Amal Neerad Productions. It is an adaptation of the 1971 film Straw Dogs and stars Fahadh Faasil and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles.

Lajo Jose is an Indian writer and screenwriter, predominantly works in Malayalam literature and cinema. The film features an ensemble cast of Mammootty, Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Shine Tom Chacko, Farhaan Faasil, Nadhiya Moidu, Sudev Nair, Veena Nandakumar, Dileesh Pothan, Jinu Joseph, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Harish Uthaman, Lena, Shebin Benson, Abu Salim, Anagha. The film is written by Amal Neerad and Devadath Shaji with Ravisankar credited as additional screenwriter. RJ Murukan has penned the additional dialogues.

Suhas and Sharfu are an Indian screenwriter duo working in Malayalam cinema. They wrote a total of five films, beginning with Varathan in 2018.
