Renaissance is the second studio album by Finnish thrash metal band Diablo. It debuted at #14 on the Finnish albums chart. [1]
Amorphis is a Finnish heavy metal band founded by Jan Rechberger, Tomi Koivusaari, and Esa Holopainen in 1990. Initially, the band was a death metal act, but on later albums they evolved into playing other genres, including progressive metal, and folk metal. They frequently use the Kalevala, the epic poem of Finland, as a source for their lyrics.
Timo Tapio Tolkki is a Finnish musician best known as the former guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer of the power metal band Stratovarius. With his tenure lasting for more than twenty years, he was the longest standing member of the band before his departure in 2008. After leaving Stratovarius he formed two supergroups named Revolution Renaissance and Symfonia, both of which have since disbanded. In a 2011 article by Guitar World magazine, Tolkki was included in the all-time top 50 list of the world's fastest guitarists.
Diablo is a Finnish melodic death metal / groove metal band, formed in 1995 as Diablo Brothers. The band cite Testament, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Opeth, Death and Meshuggah as influences, but influence from several Gothenburg bands such as Dark Tranquillity, Hypocrisy and In Flames is also evident in their music. Their fourth album, Mimic47, was released in January 2006 and reached No. 1 on the Finnish music charts. In May 2008, Diablo released their fifth studio album, Icaros, which reached No. 2 on the Finnish music charts. Their sixth album, Silvër Horizon, was released in 2015.
Tyranny of Souls is the sixth studio album released by Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson on 23 May 2005. The cover art is one of the panels of Earthly Vanity and Divine Salvation, a work by renaissance artist Hans Memling. It is his first solo album since rejoining Iron Maiden in 1999 and his most recent studio album as a solo artist to date.

More Love Songs is a 1986 album by Loudon Wainwright III released on Rounder Records. Wainwright had moved to England, and this was the second album produced by Richard Thompson. Critically and popularly it is probably considered the peak of his 1980s renaissance. After three albums in four years, it would be another three years before he released the largely ignored Therapy. The album was nominated for the "Best Contemporary Folk Recording" Grammy.
North from Here is the second album by the Finnish metal band Sentenced. Lyrics of the album deal with Sentenced's typical melancholy, but some also deal with the mythology and history of Finnish warfare and the national romantic epic of Kalevala. Prior the release of North From Here the band had developed their playing skills further and established a more personal sound, drawing influence from a number of extreme metal bands including Atheist, Nocturnus, Bathory, and the early works of Darkthrone, but on the opposite spectrum, also more rock-oriented acts such as Faith No More and Primus.
The Metal Opera Pt. II is the second full-length album by Tobias Sammet's German supergroup project, Avantasia. It is a concept album and a metal opera. The songs carry on the story begun in The Metal Opera, with the same characters. Both albums were written over the course of a year, starting in the last quarter of 1998, and both were produced from October 1999 to June 2000, with the works being interrupted for some weeks so Sammet could produce The Savage Poetry with his other band Edguy.
Uudet kymmenen käskyä is the second album by Finnish thrash metal band Stam1na. It was released on 10 May 2006 and reached No. 3 on the Finnish albums chart. In March 2007, the album was chosen as the Metal Album of 2006 at the Emma Awards, arranged by the Finnish recording industry.
Live at Carnegie Hall is a 1976 live double album by the English progressive rock band Renaissance. It presented songs from all of the band's Annie Haslam-era studio albums thus far, including the forthcoming Scheherazade and Other Stories.
New Era is the debut album of Finnish power metal pioneer Timo Tolkki's band, Revolution Renaissance. After Tolkki's split from Stratovarius in 2008, he used what fans knew the album to be titled R... R.... as the namesake for his new project. Using material he had written for Stratovarius's upcoming album, Tolkki's New Era features the talents of German power metal vocalist Tobias Sammet and German singer Michael Kiske, among others.
Polaris is the twelfth studio album by power metal band Stratovarius, released on 15 May 2009. It is the first Stratovarius album to feature bassist Lauri Porra and guitarist Matias Kupiainen, following former bassist Jari Kainulainen's departure from the band in 2005 and former guitarist Timo Tolkki's departure in 2008.

Autumn Sky is the eighth studio album by British-American folk-rock band Blackmore's Night. It is dedicated to their daughter Autumn Esmerelda Blackmore, who was born on 27 May 2010. It was released on 3 September 2010 in Europe and on 18 January 2011 in the U.S.
Turning to Crime is the twenty-second album by English rock band Deep Purple. Released on 26 November. It is composed entirely of covers, and is the last Deep Purple album to feature guitarist Steve Morse before he left the band in July 2022.
