Renincarnated is the fourth album by rapper MC Ren, released October 31, 2009, on his own record label Villain Entertainment. [2]

Contents

The album marked MC Ren's comeback after not having released an album in eleven years since 1998's Ruthless for Life ., The album was a download-only album, with no physical edition currently available. It is his first album since he declined a major label deal in 2002 off the back of a series of high-profile appearances on hit albums for Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.

Commercial performance

The album went on to sell 650 digital downloads in its first week after which it sold more than 3,000 digital copies in the US.[ citation needed ]

He embarked on his music career in the early 1990s, as a co-founder of the Compton-based West Coast hip hop/gangsta rap group Compton's Most Wanted, along with frontman Aaron "MC Eiht" Tyler. During his childhood, Johnson dropped out of high school and hooked up with neighbourhood friend MC Eiht, to form the group.

Antoine Franklin McColister, better known by his stage name Ace Hood, is an American rapper. He was born in Port St. Lucie, Florida and raised in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was signed to record producer DJ Khaled's label We the Best Music Group in 2008, in a joint-venture with Def Jam Recordings. He has released four studio albums with his most successful of which being Blood, Sweat & Tears (2011) and Trials & Tribulations (2013). The albums contained his highest charting singles, "Hustle Hard" and "Bugatti", respectively. In 2016, McColister announced his departure from We the Best Music and is currently working as an independent artist.

Johnny Reed McKinzie Jr., better known by his stage name Jay Rock, is an American rapper from Watts, California. Rock signed to the independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) in 2005. In 2007, alongside TDE, Rock secured a recording contract with Warner Bros. Records and later Asylum Records, but mergers fell through and Rock ended up leaving the label shortly after. He then signed with Tech N9ne's Strange Music, in a joint-venture record deal. Apart from his solo career, Rock is also known for being a member of the hip hop supergroup Black Hippy, alongside fellow West Coast rappers and TDE label-mates Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. In 2019, Jay Rock received a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for "King's Dead".
