World Archery is the governing body of the sport of archery. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is composed of 156 national federations and other archery associations, and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee.

Pierre-Julien Deloche is a French athlete who competes in compound archery. He has won medals at the Indoor World Championships, two gold medals at the 2013 World Cup Final, and became the world number one ranked archer in October 2013.
Mike Schloesser is a compound archer from the Netherlands. In 2015, he was the first person to hit a perfect 600/600, hence his nickname Mister Perfect. In December 2023 he surpassed Sara López as the longest-tenured world number one. Both had been in the top three since the beginning of the 2015 season. Schloesser had been holding the number one position in the world ranking since 24 May 2021. In March 2024 he broke the record for the longest consecutive days ranked number one.
Alexander Sergeyvich Dambaev is a Russian athlete who competes in compound archery. He won medals at the major World Archery Federation competitions, the World Archery Championships and the FITA Archery World Cup, and achieved his highest world ranking of 20 in 2011.
Guillermo Javier Rodríguez González is an adaptive archer from Spain. He won a gold medal at the Spanish Archery Championship for Physically Handicapped in 2010. Gonzalez represented Spain at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, and the 2013 IPC World Championships. He shoots both the recurve and compound bows. He finished just out of the medals at the London Paralympics.

Abhishek Verma is an Indian archer. At the 2014 Asian Games at Incheon, South Korea, he won the gold medal in the men's compound archery team event along with Rajat Chauhan and Sandeep Kumar, and the silver medal in the men's individual compound event. On 15 August 2015, he won a gold medal in the compound men's individual section at the Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Wroclaw, Poland. On 25 October 2015, he won the silver medal in the compound men's individual section at the Archery World Cup Final in Mexico city.
Jonathon Milne is an Australian Paralympic archer. In April 2015 he won the National Para Championships, held in Melbourne. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics where he won a bronze medal. Milne won a bronze medal at the 2023 World Para Archery Championships. He competed at 2024 Paris Paralympics - his third Paralympics.
Anton Bulaev is a Russian archer competing in men's compound events. He won, alongside Natalia Avdeeva, the gold medal in the mixed team compound event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus.
Roberto Alexander Hernández Maldonado is a Salvadoran archer competing in men's compound events. He won the gold medal in the men's individual compound event at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. As a result, he became the first man from El Salvador to win gold at the Pan American Games. He was the flag bearer during the Parade of Nations at the 2019 Pan American Games opening ceremony.
Daniel Muñoz Perez is a Colombian archer competing in compound events. He won the bronze medal in the men's individual compound event at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. He also won the gold medal in the men's individual compound event at the 2022 Bolivarian Games held in Valledupar, Colombia.
