Requena is a town in the Loreto Region in northeastern Peru. It is the capital of both Requena Province and Requena District and has a population of 25,313 (2017 census).

The Requena Province is one of the eight provinces in the Loreto Region of Peru. It was created by Law No. 9815 on July 2, 1943 by president Manuel Prado Ugarteche. Its territory is part of the Amazon Rainforest; as such, it is characterized by high temperatures, heavy rainfall and a wide diversity of plants and animals.

Old Hotel Palace is a modernist building in Iquitos, Loreto, Peru. It was a hotel and was built between 1908 and 1912. It is located on the Malecón Tarapacá, Historic Centre of Iquitos. The hotel is located one blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The Old Hotel Palace was built for engineer Samuel Young Mass and Spanish architect José Altamira y Motta. The hotel was an important luxury hotel during the era Amazon rubber boom. Currently serves as the office of the Fifth Military Region of Peru.

Pedro Requena is a Peruvian footballer. He played in 51 matches for the Peru national football team from 1983 to 1992. He was also part of Peru's squad for the 1983 Copa América tournament.
