The 2022 Uprising was the tenth Uprising professional wrestling event produced by Revolution Pro Wrestling. It took place on December 17, 2022 at the York Hall in London, England. The event featured wrestlers from partner promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling. [2]

Storylines

The event featured seven professional wrestling matches that involve different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portray heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that build tension and culminate in a wrestling match or series of matches. Storylines are produced on RevPro's weekly tour-based shows. [3]

Event

Seven professional wrestling matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Will Ospreay defeated Tomohiro Ishii. Other prominent matches on the card saw 2022 British J-Cup winner Robbie X defeat defending champion Luke Jacobs, Dan Moloney and Will Kaven in a Four Way Elimination Match to win the Undisputed British Cruiserweight Championship, Dani Luna defeat Kanji to win the Southside Women's Championship, Greedy Souls (Brendan White and Danny Jones) defeat Sunshine Machine (Chuck Mambo and TK Cooper) to retain the Undisputed British Tag Team Championship and Great-O-Khan defeat Zac Knight to win the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship.
