Reveille was an American nu metal band from Harvard, Chelmsford, and Shirley, Massachusetts.
The band formed in 1998[ citation needed ] and recorded a six-track demo that attracted the attention of major labels. After a standout performance at the famous CBGB in Manhattan, New York the band signed with Elektra Records. They gained nationwide exposure with their debut album, Laced , in 1999. The album featured a guest appearance by Cypress Hill rapper B-Real. The band played Warped Tour 1999, Woodstock 1999, and Ozzfest 2000, and toured with Godsmack, Machine Head, and Powerman 5000.
Reveille's follow-up album, Bleed the Sky was released in 2001. The album featured appearances from Taproot singer Stephen Richards and Cold singer Scooter Ward; the collaboration for which Reveille achieved Billboard success with their song "Inside Out (Can You Feel Me Now)". Also in 2001 the group received the Boston Music Award for "Rising Star" and then embarked on a tour with Static-X. The following year Bleed the Sky was nominated for Boston Music Award's "Album of the Year".
In 2002, their original guitarist, Greg Sullivan, decided to leave the band citing "creative differences". He was replaced by Chris Turner. Though initially announcing the band would be releasing a third album through Elektra Records, once again enlisting the help of producer Howard Benson, this album never saw release and they soon departed the label. Singer Drew Simollardes claimed Reveille had been pressured to make more accessible radio-oriented music by the label, stating "Our biggest problem was always battling with people at the label. They were kind of trying to market us to 12 year old girls and it didn't work. That was our big problem with them." [1] Reveille did one tour with Sevendust before breaking up in 2003. [2] Their final show was the "3rd Annual Hometown Throwdown" at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, on December 28, 2002, where they performed two live new songs titled "Your Life" & "Nothing No One" that was originally supposed to be for their third album.
On October 20, 2008, it was announced that Reveille would be reuniting for one night in Worcester, Massachusetts, for a show dubbed "Reveille Reborn". [3] Asked about Reveille's reunion in an interview with the Worcester Telegram from December 2008, Simollardes replied:
The biggest reward will be seeing the fans again. We aren't promoting a new album or a new tour, so this isn't about making money or furthering our future as a band. When we broke up, we simply vanished without a trace. This is our chance to pay homage to the couple hundred thousand people who bought our records and believed in what we did. The show itself will be the reward for us … experiencing that personal interaction with our fans.

The concert took place December 26, 2008, with opening bands Nullset, Debris, CrowneVict and Breathe. The venue was sold out with over 2000 people in attendance. Future plans for Reveille are unknown at this point.

Swingin' Utters is a Californian punk rock band that formed in the late 1980s. After U.S. and European tours supporting the release of 2003's "Dead Flowers, Bottles, Bluegrass and Bones", some band members concentrated on raising their new families. From 2003-2010, the band played frequently, though mostly limited to the west coast of the United States and Canada, taking a break from any longer, comprehensive touring or recordings. During this time, they released the "Live in a Dive" double live album on Fat Wreck Chords (2004), and "Hatest Grits", a b-sides and rarities compilation (2008). After a seven-year gap in the release of any new, original recordings, the band released the "Brand New Lungs" 3-song 7-inch ep in 2010, followed by the "Here, Under Protest" LP (2011), and have since released four more records, and have resumed touring internationally.

The Format was an American indie rock band formed by Nate Ruess and Sam Means. Their style can be considered a mixture of indie, alternative, punk and folk music, with elements of 1960s and 1970s pop music. Though Means and Ruess are the foremost members of the band, they have played, toured, and recorded with Mike Schey, Mark Buzard, Don Raymond, and for the DVD recording and summer 2007 tour, The Honorary Title's drummer Adam Boyd. The Format chose their name to make fun of the music industry's inclination towards a cookie-cutter "format" for a hit. Formed in 2002, the band announced a hiatus on February 4, 2008. On February 4, 2020, they announced a return from their hiatus for a tour of special shows that were later cancelled due to the pandemic.
Planes Mistaken for Stars was an American rock band formed in Peoria, Illinois in 1997. Working with several different labels, they released three studio albums and four EPs before breaking up in 2008. While rooted in the post-hardcore and emo scenes of the turn of the century, Planes Mistaken for Stars developed a distinctive musical style strongly influenced by heavy metal and rock and roll. Reuniting for live performances in 2010, they went on to release their fourth album Prey in 2016.

Steve Morse of The Boston Globe wrote that Valerie Forgione, the band's singer, has "some of the most versatile pipes since the dream-pop heyday of Kate Bush" and that the "band remains a local treasure". During the band's heyday, their songs frequently charted in CMJ's Top 200. According to the band's website, they're on hiatus but their last album was released in February 2002. In January 2011, they reunited to play their first concert since 2003. Forgione's current project is called Lovina Falls.

Genuflect's lyrical message lashes out against social, political and economic corruption. The band formed in 2005 and released LPs in 2007 and 2009. They went into hiatus in 2011, however Genuflect reformed in August 2013 and were working on new music before disbanding in 2015.

He is best known for being the founder & former lead guitarist for the American rock band Yellowcard, as well as for the bands Amber Pacific and HeyMike! and This Legend. Benjamin Harper is founder and CEO of Takeover Records. Alongside these projects, Harper is the owner and founder of Takeover Live, a broadcasting and media production company that specializes in live-streaming bands along with giving artists a platform to share their sound on.
Greg Dulli is an American musician from Hamilton, Ohio. Debuting as a member of the rock band the Afghan Whigs in 1986, Dulli has been a member of the Twilight Singers, Gutter Twins, and in 2020 released his debut solo album, Random Desire. Dulli is known as the voice of John Lennon in the 1994 film Backbeat, and has produced music for musicians such as Afterhours, and is known as a regular collaborator of Mark Lanegan and Joseph Arthur.
