Revival is an upcoming horror television series based on the American comics series of the same name by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, and published by Image Comics. Created by Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce for Syfy, the series is set to premiere in 2025. [1]

Development

In May 2024, Syfy announced during the annual NBCUniversal upfront presentation that they had given a series order to Revival along with a 2025 release window. [3]

Casting

In September 2024, Melanie Scrofano, Romy Weltman, David James Elliott and Andy McQueen were cast as Dana Cypress, Martha "Em" Cypress, Wayne Cypress, and Ibrahim Ramin respectively. [1] Later that month, Steven Ogg joined the cast as Blaine Abel. [2]

Filming

In September 2024, filming began in southeastern New Brunswick, Canada, including in the Saint John area as well as in Sussex and Norton. [4] Filming is scheduled to last until December 2024. [5]
