The Rianbavy Falls is a waterfall in the region of Ihorombe in Madagascar.^[1]

Ihorombe is a region in Madagascar. It borders Haute Matsiatra region in north, Atsimo-Atsinanana in east, Anosy in south and Atsimo-Andrefana in west. The capital is Ihosy and the population was estimated to be 312,307 in 2013. The area of Ihorombe is 26,391 km² (10,190 sq mi) and it has one of the lowest population densities of the Malagasy regions.

Madagascar, officially the Republic of Madagascar, and previously known as the Malagasy Republic, is an island country in the Indian Ocean, approximately 400 kilometres off the coast of East Africa. At 592,800 square kilometres (228,900 sq mi) Madagascar is the world's 2nd largest island country. The nation comprises the island of Madagascar and numerous smaller peripheral islands. Following the prehistoric breakup of the supercontinent Gondwana, Madagascar split from the Indian subcontinent around 88 million years ago, allowing native plants and animals to evolve in relative isolation. Consequently, Madagascar is a biodiversity hotspot; over 90% of its wildlife is found nowhere else on Earth. The island's diverse ecosystems and unique wildlife are threatened by the encroachment of the rapidly growing human population and other environmental threats.

They are situated on the Zomandao River in the Andringitra Massif near the Andringitra National Park.^[2]

The Zomandao River is a 283-km-long river in the regions of Haute Matsiatra and Ihorombe in central-southern Madagascar. It begins in the Andringitra Massif at Boby Peak, the second highest peak of Madagascar, and flows across the Zomandao Plain. It is one of the main tributaries of the Mangoky River. It has some waterfalls, including the Riandahy Falls and Rianbavy Falls.

The Andringitra Massif is a granite massif located within Andringitra National Park in Madagascar. The range is approximately 64 kilometres (40 mi) long. In its central area, the range is almost 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) wide, though it is much narrower on either end. Pic Boby, the highest peak, stands at 2658 meters (8,720 ft) high.

Andringitra National Park is a national park in the Haute Matsiatra region of Madagascar, 47 kilometres (29 mi) south of Ambalavao. The park was established in 1999 and is managed by the Madagascar National Parks Association. It was inscribed in the World Heritage Site in 2007 as part of the Rainforests of the Atsinanana.
