K2: Siren of the Himalayas is a 2012 American documentary film directed by Dave Ohlson. The film follows a group of climbers during their 2009 attempt to climb K2, chronicling the climbers' attempt to surmount the peak on the 100th anniversary of the Duke of Abruzzi's landmark K2 expedition in 1909. The film also delves into the history and geography of the Karakoram mountain region.

Of Shark and Man is a 2017 British documentary film produced and directed by David Diley, about Shark Reef in Fiji, a location where divers can encounter up to a hundred of the world's largest bull sharks on one dive. Shark Reef in Fiji was described by underwater filmmakers Ron Taylor and Valerie Taylor as "the best shark dive in the world." The film was released on June 29, 2017, distributed by Shami Media Group. Of Shark and Man is Diley's first feature-length documentary and is the first in a series of films documenting the relationship between sharks and humans around the world. Of Shark and Man has received eight award nominations, winning five.

Ski-BASE jumping is the recreational sport of skiing at a high speed off of a cliff or mountain and free-falling through the air, using a parachute to descend to the ground, therefore combining the two sports of skiing and BASE jumping. Participants often perform tricks or manoeuvres during the freefall and remove their skis mid-air in order to safely deploy the parachute and land.

Torn is a 2021 American documentary film by photographer and explorer Max Lowe, son of the late climber Alex Lowe, who explored his father's high-profile mountain climbing death on the Himalayan peak, Mount Shishapangma, in 1999. His body was discovered 17 years after his death in 2016. The film had its world premiere at the 2021 Telluride Film Festival and was released in the US on December 3, 2021. National Geographic Documentary Films produced the film in partnership with Lightbox.
