Richard Grant Halsall (born 1 October 1968) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer. Halsall was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born at Salisbury,Rhodesia (today Harare,Zimbabwe).
Halsall made his debut in first-class cricket for Mashonaland Country Districts against Mashonaland Under-24s in the 1993/94 Logan Cup. This was the only first-class match he played in Zimbabwe. [1]
His next appearance in first-class cricket came for Cambridge University in English county cricket. His first-class debut for the university came against Lancashire in 1999. During the 1999 season,he represented the university in 7 first-class matches,the last of which came against Oxford University. [2] In his combined total of 8 first-class matches,he scored 171 runs at a batting average of 19.00,with a single half century high score of 76. In the field he took 5 catches. With the ball he took 13 wickets at a bowling average of 44.38,with best figures of 3/64.
Halsall later represented the Sussex Cricket Board in List A cricket. His debut List A match came against Herefordshire in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. From 2000 to 2001,he represented the Board in 5 List A matches,the last of which came against the Essex Cricket Board in 1st round of the 2002 Cheltenham &Gloucester Trophy which was held in 2001. [3] In his 5 List A matches,he scored 36 runs at an average of 18.00,with a high score of 17. [4] With the ball he took 5 wickets at an average of 20.60,with best figures of 4/34. [5]
After a spell coaching at Sussex,Halsall was in 2007 appointed as the first full-time fielding coach of the England cricket team, [6] After his contract expired on 3 October with the ECB,he joined as the fielding coach of the Bangladesh national cricket team [7] for the next two years. Having worked with Andy Flower as fielding coach of Multan Sultans in PSL,he was subsequently appointed as fielding coach of Lucknow Super Giants for IPL 2022.
Mushtaq Ahmed Malik is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who currently acts as the spin bowling coach for the Pakistan Cricket Team. A leg break googly bowler,at his peak he was described as being one of the best three wrist-spinners in the world. In an international career that spanned from 1990 until 2003,he claimed 185 wickets in Test cricket and 161 in One Day Internationals. He was at his most prolific internationally between 1995 and 1998,but his most successful years were as a domestic player for Sussex in the early 2000s.
Heath Hilton Streak is a former Zimbabwean cricketer and cricket coach who played for and captained the Zimbabwe national cricket team. By his statistical record,he is the best bowler to have played for Zimbabwe. He is the all time leading wicket taker for Zimbabwe in Test cricket with 216 wickets and in ODI cricket with 239 wickets.

Kyle Malcolm Jarvis is a Zimbabwean former cricketer who represented Zimbabwe and played for Lancashire. The son of another former Zimbabwean international cricketer Malcolm Jarvis,he was educated at St John's College,Harare,where he excelled at rugby and cricket. Kyle was a key bowler for Zimbabwe in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and he also played for the Zimbabwe U-19 Rugby Team. He was coached by Zimbabwean veteran seamer Heath Streak. He was one of the fastest bowlers to have played for Zimbabwe bowling at 140 km/h very often during his early career. On 17 June 2021,Jarvis retired from all forms of cricket after battling a trio of illnesses earlier this year.

The 2011–12 Logan Cup was a first-class cricket competition held in Zimbabwe from 26 September 2011 to 16 February 2012. The tournament was won by the Matabeleland Tuskers,who claimed their second consecutive title,becoming the first team to win back-to-back championships during the franchise era of the competition. The competition was altered from the previous two seasons;during the group stage,each team played eight matches,rather than the twelve played previously;and rather than the title being decided by a final,the winner of the league won the tournament.

Having begun his coaching career while still playing in Zimbabwe,Manyande was appointed coach of the Namibian under-19 side in 2013,and has overseen its successful qualification for the 2014 and 2016 Under-19 World Cups.
Langalibalele Ethan Dube is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who represented Matabeleland in Zimbabwean domestic cricket. He played as a right-arm fast bowler,but had his career cut short by knee and back injuries. After his retirement,Dube moved into sports administration,serving as chairman of the Matabeleland Cricket Association,as a selector for the Zimbabwean national team,and as a member of the government's Sports and Recreation Commission.
