Ricky Hoyte (born 15 October 1969) is a former West Indian cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper. He played first-class and List A cricket for Barbados in West Indian domestic cricket from 1990 to 1999. He didn't play Test cricket or One Day Internationals for West Indies but did play for them at "A" Team level. His father (David Murray) and grandfather (Everton Weekes) both played Test cricket for the West Indies.
Brian Charles Lara,is a Trinidadian former international cricketer,widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. He topped the Test batting rankings on several occasions and holds several cricketing records,including the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket,with 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham at Edgbaston in 1994,which is the only quintuple-hundred in first-class cricket history.
Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.

Ponting was captain of the Australian national team during its "golden era",between 2004 and 2011 in Test cricket and 2002 and 2011 in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and is the most successful captain in international cricket history,with 220 victories in 324 matches with a winning rate of 67.91%. He is widely considered to be one of the best batsmen of the modern era and in December 2006 reached the highest rating achieved by a Test batsman for 50 years,although this was surpassed by Steve Smith in December 2017. A destructive batter,Gayle is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen to have played Twenty20 cricket,and by some as the best ever. He played a crucial role in the West Indies teams that won 2004 ICC Champions Trophy,2012 ICC World Twenty20 and 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

Sir Frank Mortimer Maglinne Worrell,sometimes referred to by his nickname of Tae,was a West Indies cricketer and Jamaican senator. A stylish right-handed batsman and useful left-arm seam bowler,he became famous in the 1950s as the second black captain of the West Indies cricket team. Along with Everton Weekes and Clyde Walcott,he formed what was known as "The Three Ws" of the West Indian cricket. The Arun Jaitley Stadium is a cricket stadium owned and operated the Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) and located on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg,New Delhi. It was established in 1883 as the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium,and named after the nearby Kotla fort. Sir Everton DeCourcy Weekes,KCMG,GCM,OBE was a cricketer from Barbados. A right-handed batsman,he was known as one of the hardest hitters in world cricket. Weekes holds the record for consecutive Test hundreds,with five. Along with Frank Worrell and Clyde Walcott,he formed what was known as "The Three Ws" of the West Indies cricket team. Weekes played in 48 Test matches for the West Indies cricket team from 1948 to 1958. He continued to play first-class cricket until 1964,surpassing 12,000 first-class runs in his final innings. As a coach he was in charge of the Canadian team at the 1979 Cricket World Cup,and he was also a commentator and international match referee.
Jerome Everton Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who has played for the West Indies. In July 2016,he announced his retirement from Test cricket after giving 'formal notification' of his decision to retire. However,in April 2017,he announced the end of his retirement,making himself available for the West Indies squad for their Test series against Pakistan.

Adam Charles Voges is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the Australian national team at Test,One Day International (ODI),and Twenty20 International (T20I) level,and also captained Western Australia and Perth Scorchers in domestic cricket. Voges' Test match batting average of 61.87 is second behind Don Bradman among batsmen who have finished their career and played a minimum of 20 innings. Voges was included in the 2016 ICC Test Match Team of the Year.
The 2006 ICC Champions Trophy was a One Day International cricket tournament held in India from 7 October to 5 November 2006. It was the fifth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy. The tournament venue was not confirmed until mid-2005 when the Indian government agreed that tournament revenues would be free from tax. Australia won the tournament,their first Champions Trophy victory. They were the only team to get one loss in the tournament,as all other teams lost at least two matches. West Indies,their final opponents,beat Australia in the group stage but were bowled out for 138 in the final and lost by eight wickets on the Duckworth–Lewis method. West Indies opening batsman Chris Gayle was named Player of the Tournament.
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies. It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control,but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015,the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. This rebranding formally occurred in May 2017.

While being a "rhythm" bowler,he still is considered one of the fastest Indian bowlers having bowled in excess of 150 km/h on several occasions in international cricket as well as the IPL,his fastest being 152.2 km/h bowled to Ricky Ponting on Boxing Day Test in 2011. In 2020,Indian government has awarded him the Arjuna Award to recognize his outstanding achievement in cricket.
Kuldeep Yadav is an Indian international cricketer. He is a Left-arm Unorthodox spin bowler and a capable Lower order batter who plays for India and for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. He was signed by the Delhi Capitals for the Indian premiere league. He has played for the Indian Under-19 cricket team. On 18 December 2019,against the West Indies,he became the first bowler for India to take two hat-tricks in international cricket. On 17 January 2020,in the second ODI against Australia,Yadav became the fastest spin bowler for India,in terms of innings,to take 100 wickets in ODI cricket,in his 58th innings.

In the two-year span in first-class cricket from 2015 to 2017,he averaged 50.18 against his overall figure of 37.46. He struck three centuries and seven fifties in that period,including a career-best unbeaten 131.
