Rico Hill (born February 14, 1977) [1] is an American former professional basketball player. He played at the small forward and power forward positions.
Hill attended Brother Rice High School, in Chicago, Illinois, where he played high school basketball.
Hill played college basketball at Illinois State University, where he led the Redbirds to back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference championships, as well as consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, in 1997 and 1998. [2]
Hill was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers, with the 31st pick in the 1999 NBA draft, but he never played in the NBA. He played with the Quad City Thunder (CBA), Estudiantes Madrid (Spain), Dakota Wizards (NBA D-League), Le Mans a French team, and the Charleston Lowgators (NBA D-League). He also played in Italy, and with the Chicago Steam of the American Basketball Association, and with for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (Spain).
Hill was chosen by the Chicago Muscle, with the tenth pick in the 2011 Premier Basketball League Draft. [3]
Jerry Darnell Stackhouse is an American basketball coach and former professional player who is the assistant coach of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. Stackhouse played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels and played 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and was a two-time NBA All-Star. He was the head coach of Raptors 905 and an assistant coach for the Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies. Additionally, he has worked as an NBA TV analyst.
Lee Nailon is an American professional basketball player who played six seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was the 2007 Israeli Basketball Premier League MVP. In 2011, he was the top scorer in the Israel Basketball Premier League. He had an All-American college career at Texas Christian University. In 2022, Lee Nailon became the head basketball coach for Carbondale Community High School in Carbondale, Illinois.
Brother Rice High School is a Catholic, all-male college preparatory institution in Chicago, Illinois, administered under the Congregation of Christian Brothers. On the same block of land, directly to the east, is the all-female Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School, while Saint Xavier University is just to the south of Mother McAuley, and to the southeast of Brother Rice. Earlier in 2013 he was convicted of harassment of a witness for making threatening comments and gestures to a probation officer.
