"Right Now" is a song by Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was released as the single on January 6, 2016 and it was used as the theme song for the 2016 film, Pink and Gray . [1] This is the second time the band didn't use Yusuke Nakamura's artwork on their single, instead they just used the simple artwork of pink and grey color to fit in with the film.
The music video for "Right Now" was directed by Pink and Gray's director, Isao Yukisada. [2] The video features Kaho as actress and the band playing in the middle of the film set.
All lyrics are written by Masafumi Gotoh; all music is composed by Masafumi Gotoh, except "Right Now" by Gotoh and Takahiro Yamada

Asian Kung-Fu Generation is a Japanese alternative rock band formed in Yokohama in 1996. For its entire career, the band has consisted of vocalist Masafumi Gotoh, guitarist Kensuke Kita, bassist Takahiro Yamada, and drummer Kiyoshi Ijichi. Starting out as a college band, Asian Kung-Fu Generation released a series of independent EPs featuring lyrics mostly sung in English. In 2002, they released their major-label EP debut Hōkai Amplifier, from that point singing their lyrics in Japanese. The band's musical style is influenced by seminal Western alternative rock acts as well as their own local Japanese indie-rock and punk scene. Their songs incorporate various aspects of the genres, most typically expressing fast tempos and prominent power chord guitar riffs in addition to rhythmic groove and emotional lyrics. Despite the indie nature of their music, the band has enjoyed worldwide commercial success in addition to critical acclaim. Asian Kung-Fu Generation has been cited as one of the best, most balanced modern rock bands to emerge from Japan in the 2000s.
"Kimi to Iu Hana" is a song by Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was released as the second single of their major-label debut album, Kimi Tsunagi Five M, on October 16, 2003. "Solanin" is a song by Japanese rock band, Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was released as a single on March 31, 2010. The song was written for the film of the same name. The music was composed by band member Masafumi Gotoh, while the lyrics was written by Inio Asano, creator of the manga of the same name that the film is based on. Asian Kung-Fu Generation's recording was not used in the film. Instead, a cover, credited to Rotti, a fictional band from the film, with vocals by Aoi Miyazaki, who plays Meiko in the film, was used.

Single's B-side, Seaside Sleeping, sung by band's guitarist, Kensuke Kita. This is the second time since World Apart's B-side, "Uso to Wonderland" in 2006. This is the first time the band didn't use Yusuke Nakamura's artwork on their single, instead they just used the simple artwork with black color because Masafumi Gotoh imagined "Easter" as a grave and resurrection.
"Blood Circulator" is a song by Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was released on July 13, 2016 and reached number 13 on the Oricon. It was used as the opening for the 21st season of the anime Naruto Shippuden and the third song by Asian Kung-Fu Generation in the Naruto media, after "Haruka Kanata" and "Sore dewa, Mata Ashita". Masafumi Gotō said, "The offer came to places where there was no song, no idea, no time, but I could not find a reason to refuse, I thought that I had to write down even while I was sleeping." Single's B-side, Hakkei, sung by band's guitarist, Kensuke Kita. This is the fourth time since Re:Re:'s B-side, "Time Traveller" in 2016.

Yūsuke Nakamura, the illustrator for all of the band's artwork, is also the person in charge of the original character design for the movie.
