Riku Markus Hahl (born November 1, 1980) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey centre, who played most notably for HPK in the Finnish Liiga and the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Hahl was drafted 183rd overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.
Before coming to North America, Hahl played for his hometown team, HPK, in the Finnish SM-liiga, and was known for his defensive skills as a forward. In the autumn of 2000, Hahl left for Colorado, where he impressed the Avalanche coaches at training camp and was rewarded with 43 games in the NHL in the following season, including 21 playoff games. In his NHL career, Hahl played a total of 92 regular season games scoring five goals for a total of thirteen points. He also played 34 playoff games, recording two goals and four assists.
During the 2004–05 NHL lockout Hahl played for HPK, and represented HC Davos in the Swiss NLA during the 2005–06 season. Hahl represented Finland at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey and scored his first goal on the national team in the final against Team Canada.
Hahl signed with Timrå IK of Elitserien in the spring of 2006, [1] and completed a two-year deal with the Medelpad team before leaving in 2008 for Frölunda HC. [2]
After three seasons with Frölunda as an alternate captain, Hahl returned to Finland to play for Jokerit, signing a two-year deal on May 19, 2011. [3]
Hahl played four seasons with Jokerit, including the last campaign within the Kontinental Hockey League, before opting to return to his original club in the Liiga with HPK on an optional two-year contract on July 24, 2015. [4]

Jari Pekka Kurri is a Finnish former professional ice hockey winger and a five-time Stanley Cup champion. In 2001, he became the first Finnish player to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. In 2017 Kurri was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history. He is the general manager and owner of Jokerit.
Helsingin Jokerit are a professional ice hockey team based in Helsinki, Finland. The team won six league championships as a member of the Finnish SM-liiga. Jokerit plays its home games at Helsinki Halli. The team was a part of the Bobrov Division of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) Western Conference from the 2014–15 season, making Finland the first Nordic country to have a team in the league.

Borna Rendulić is a Croatian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Rendulić began playing hockey in Croatia and made his professional debut with KHL Medveščak in 2006, before moving to Finland in 2011 in order to further his career. He played for several teams in both the top-tier SM-liiga and second-tier Mestis, then moved to North America in 2014 when he signed a contract with the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL. Rendulić made his NHL debut that year, the first Croatian-trained player to do so, but spent most of the following two seasons with the Avalanche minor-league affiliates in the AHL. After two seasons spent primarily with the Avalanche's AHL affiliate, he signed with the Vancouver Canucks, spending a further season in the AHL with their affiliate before returning to Europe. Internationally, Rendulić has played for Croatia in several World Championships, both at the junior and senior level.
