Japanese musician Ringo Sheena has filmed 30 music videos in her solo project single her debut in 1998. She has released a number of music video compilations and live concerts to VHS, DVD and Blu-ray, including the short film project Hyakuiro Megane, which was certified gold by the RIAJ for 100,000 copies shipped.

Yumiko Shiina, known by her stage name Ringo Sheena, is a Japanese singer, songwriter and musician. She is also the founder and lead vocalist of the band Tokyo Jihen.
The solo discography of Ringo Sheena features seven studio albums, five compilation albums, two extended plays and twenty-seven singles. Signing with Toshiba-EMI in 1998, Sheena released her debut single "Kōfukuron" in May 1998, when she was 19 years old. She subsequently released the singles "Kabukichō no Joō" and "Koko de Kiss Shite", the latter becoming her first hit. As of 2014, Sheena has been signed with EMI Records following EMI Music Japan being absorbed into Universal Music Japan.
Kyōiku is the debut studio album by Japanese rock band Tokyo Jihen, led by musician Ringo Sheena. It was released on November 25, 2004, more than a year after Sheena's third solo studio album Kalk Samen Kuri no Hana (2003). Kyōiku is the only album to feature the band's original line-up, featuring guitarist Mikio Hirama and pianist Masayuki Hiizumi, known as H Zetto M.

Mitsugetsu-shō, is a live compilation album by Japanese musician Ringo Sheena. It was released on her 15th anniversary on November 13, 2013, alongside a collaborations compilation album called Ukina. The album consists of recordings taken from Sheena's solo concert DVDs released between 2000 and 2008, as well as material from the NHK music television show Songs in 2009.
Gyakuyunyū: Kōwankyoku is an album by Japanese musician Ringo Sheena, released on May 27, 2014. It is a self-cover album, featuring new recordings of songs that Sheena wrote for other artists. Each song also collaborates with a different famous Japanese music producer. Gyakuyunyū was the final release of Sheena's 15th anniversary celebrations, released on the day marking 16 years since her debut single "Kōfukuron".

The song was produced by Sheena's former Tokyo Jihen bandmate Masayuki Hiizumi, and was a collaboration with Hiizumi's jazz ensemble Pe'z, as well as hip-hop group Maboroshi members Daisuke "Mummy-D" Sakama and Tomoyasu Takeuchi.
