The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) is the governing body for high school sports in the U.S. state of California. CIF membership includes both public and private high schools. Unlike most other state organizations, it does not have a single, statewide championships for all sports; instead, for some sports, the CIF's 10 Sections each have their own championships.
Davis Senior High School is one of two high schools located in Davis, California, in the United States. DHS is a WASC accredited, 3-year, public comprehensive high school covering grades 10–12. The campus opened its current location in 1961; the previous high school location is now Davis City Hall. Enrollment for school year 2017–2018 was 1,749 students. The school's mascot is the Blue Devil.
Knight High School is a four-year public high school located in Palmdale, California and is part of the Antelope Valley Union High School District. Knight High was the 7th general education school to join the district. The high school opened its doors to freshmen in August 2003 and these same freshmen were the first class to graduate, graduating on May 31, 2007. The high school was named after test pilot and politician William Joseph "Pete" Knight. The school has received much recognition for its band program which has placed first in many events. Knight High School has an approximate enrollment of 3,100 students.

It was formerly affiliated with the Assemblies of God; it was founded in 1962 by Pastor Roy Blakeley, who had previously founded Neighborhood Church. The school educates children from preschool through 12th grade and is divided into an elementary, a middle, and a high school, which are housed on the same campus. Sage Creek specializes in the STEM fields and was created to alleviate growing enrollment at Carlsbad High School. Although the school is public, a lottery for admission is held if a class reaches a certain threshold. Sage Creek offers Wrestling, Lacrosse, Tennis, Volleyball, Girls' Field Hockey, Basketball, Cross Country, Track and Field, Golf, Boys' Baseball, Girls' Softball, Soccer, and Swimming.
