Rituraj Sinha (born 29 November 1980) is an Indian entrepreneur and politician who serves as the National Secretary of BJP and Group Managing Director of SIS Limited, an Indian multinational security firm. [1] [2] Sinha also serves as a member of the Board of Governors at IIM Bodh Gaya. [3]
Rituraj was born into a Kayastha family on 29 November 1980 in Ranchi, Jharkhand (erstwhile Bihar) to Ravindra Kishore Sinha and Rita Kishore Sinha. He completed his initial education at Don Bosco School in Patna before attending The Doon School in Dehradun for his higher secondary education. Sinha then went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies from Leeds University Business School, UK. Sinha also secured an MBA from the London Business School, and a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard University, (Kennedy school of Government). [4] [5]
Rituraj began his professional journey as an investment banker before joining his father's security firm, SIS India, in 2002. Under him as the Group Managing Director of SIS Limited, the company has gone on to become a billion-dollar enterprise. During his tenure, SIS Limited acquired an Australian security firm, Chubb Security, in 2008. [1] [6] [7]
Rituraj Sinha is currently the National Secretary of BJP and serves as Party's Co-Incharge for India's Northeast. [8]
Bodh Gayā is a religious site and place of pilgrimage associated with the Mahabodhi Temple complex, situated in the Gaya district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is famous for being the place where Gautama Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment under what became known as the Bodhi Tree. Five people, including two Buddhist monks, were injured by the blasts. Three other devices were defused by bomb-disposal squads at a number of locations in Gaya.

He was elected twice as the representative of the Bodh Gaya, being the first to do so in 63 years. He belongs to the Dalit community of Paswan. He entered politics after his father's murder.
