Ritz Ann Riggie Villafuerte Alzul-Guy January 11, 1994) is a Filipino actress and television host, known for her work as a talent of TV5 and later ABS-CBN through Star Magic.

Early life and career

Although born in Pampanga, Azul later moved to Quezon City. She initially gained notice through TV5's talent search program Star Factor, where she ended up being the 4th Final Star. [1] [2] She took up Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, but took a break from her studies to concentrate on her showbusiness career. [2] [3] Today, she is one of TV5's Primetime Princesses, along with Danita Paner, Arci Muñoz, Jasmine Curtis and Eula Caballero. But in 2016 she inked her 2-year exclusive contract under Star Magic and ABS-CBN Management, guesting on the hit prime time TV series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano topbilled by Coco Martin. She is also currently a star on her first ever teleserye on ABS-CBN titled The Promise of Forever alongside her leading men Paulo Avelino and Ejay Falcon.

Personal life

Ritz Azul was the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairwoman in her native town of Dila Dila in Santa Rita, Pampanga from 2010 to 2013. [2]

Ritz Azul married her partner Allan Guy on November 20, 2021.[ citation needed ]

<i>Tropa Mo Ko Unli</i> Filipino TV series or program

Tropa Mo Ko Unli Spoof is a weekly gag show produced by the TV5 Entertainment Group and it is aired every Saturday at 7:00pm (PST) on TV5. The program aired from September 14, 2013 to July 4, 2015, replacing Lokomoko and Tropang Kulit and was replaced by LolaBasyang.com. Sunday 'Kada is a Philippine sketch comedy variety show broadcast on TV5. The show premiered on October 18, 2020 in the 3 p.m. timeslot following its companion program I Got You as part of the network's Sunday afternoon programming block. Sunday 'Kada serves as a successor to the defunct ABS-CBN gag show Banana Sundae, featuring much of its former cast, including Jayson Gainza, Ritz Azul, Wacky Kiray, and many others. On June 13, 2021, the pilot episode of the show became available on Brightlight Productions' programming affiliate ABS-CBN's iWantTFC and worldwide via The Filipino Channel.

Brightlight Productions Inc. is a Philippine television, film production company and talent agency headquartered in Quezon City. It was founded in 2020 by Albee Benitez who previously served as Negros Occidental's 3rd district representative from 2010 to 2019 and the current Mayor of Bacolod.
