Danish Defence is the unified armed forces of the Kingdom of Denmark charged with the defence of Denmark and its self-governing territories Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The Defence also promote Denmark's wider interests, support international peacekeeping efforts and provide humanitarian aid.
Sven Hassel was the pen name of the Danish-born Børge Willy Redsted Pedersen known for his novels about German soldiers fighting in World War II. In Denmark he used the pen name Sven Hazel. He is one of the bestselling Danish authors, possibly second only to Hans Christian Andersen.

The MCH Arena is an association football stadium situated in the south of Herning, Denmark, that is part of MCH Messecenter Herning complex and owned by MCH Group A/S. It has been the home ground of FC Midtjylland since March 2004. An integrated part of the arena is a main building housing the club's administration and offices for the official fan club, and includes player and referee facilities, a restaurant, a VIP lounge, press and sky boxes, and a club shop. The total capacity during domestic matches is 11,432 spectators with 7,070 seatings making it the 9th largest football stadium in Denmark. At international FIFA and UEFA matches, the capacity of the four covered single-tiered stands is reduced to 9,430, when the terraces at the north and south stands are converted to an all-seater mode. The stadium's current attendance record of 11,763 spectators dates back to a 2007–08 Danish Superliga match on 11 November 2007, when FC Midtjylland drew 2–2 against FC Copenhagen.

Submarino is a 2010 Danish drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg, starring Jakob Cedergren and Peter Plaugborg. It is based on the 2007 novel Submarino by Jonas T. Bengtsson, and focuses on two brothers on the bottom of Danish society, with lives marked by violence and drug addiction. The film was produced by Nimbus Film. As a condition from the financier TV 2, half of the cast and crew were novices, which the director enjoyed as it gave an experience similar to his earliest films.

Theresa Birgitta Brønnum Scavenius is Danish politician. She is an associate professor at Aalborg University Copenhagen with climate politics as her research area. She is a member of the green political party The Alternative, and was a candidate at the 2019 Danish general election, but did not get elected. She was a candidate to succeed Uffe Elbæk as political leader of the party, when he resigned in February 2020, but lost to Josephine Fock.
Jim Hagemann Snabe is a Danish businessman and is currently the Chairman at Siemens and Northvolt. Together with Bill McDermott, Snabe was Co-CEO of the German Technology company SAP, before becoming member of the board of directors at SAP. Snabe has also been an adjunct professor at Copenhagen Business School since 2016 and is currently a member of the board of trustees at the World Economic Forum.
Merete Jul Ries was a Danish publisher and editor. She entered the publishing literature when she joined the Gyldendal publishing house in 1966 and served as its publishing editor from 1968 until she was made redundant in 1980. Ries was an editor at the Tiderne Skifter publishing house between 1981 and 1982 and then established the Rosinante publishing house in 1982. She established a Danish news magazine called OMverden in 1991 and was an editor from 1993 to 2001, working on The History of Nordic Women's Literature and Dansk kvindebiografisk leksikon.
