Robbie Naismith (born 4 May 1964) is a New Zealand sailor who has competed in multiple Whitbread Round the World Races and America's Cups.
From Whangārei, Naismith sailed in the 1989 Admiral's Cup before sailing the 1989–90 Whitbread Round the World Race on NCB Ireland .
He then joined New Zealand Challenge, sailing as a trimmer on NZL 20 in the 1992 America's Cup. He again competed in the 1993–94 Whitbread Round the World Race, this time winning the Whitbread 60 title with Yamaha.
He then joined Team New Zealand and was on NZL 32 when it won the 1995 America's Cup.
He sailed on Innovation Kvaerner in the 1997–98 Whitbread Round the World Race before re-joining Team New Zealand for their successful 2000 America's Cup defence. [1]
Naismith joined Oracle Racing for the 2003 and 2007 Louis Vuitton Cups, where he led their sail programme. [2] He sailed on Puma Racing's Il Mostro during the 2008–09 Volvo Ocean Race. [3] [4] He also sailed with Team Origin, [5] and then Artemis Racing during the 2010 Louis Vuitton Trophy Dubai regatta. [6]
He has also sailed on Wild Oats XI , including during the 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races. [7] [8]
Paul Pierre Cayard is an American yachtsman and professional sailor. He has competed at multiple world championship level sailing events, including the America's Cup, the Whitbread Round the World Race, the Volvo Ocean Race and the Olympic Games. In 1998 he was selected as the US Rolex Yachtsmen of the Year. He has won seven world championships, twice participated in the Olympic Games and seven times in the America's Cup. In 2011 he was elected into the US Sailing Hall of Fame.
Team New Zealand or TNZ is a sailing team based in Auckland, New Zealand representing the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. The team has been branded as Emirates Team New Zealand at America's Cup competitions since 2007.

The Louis Vuitton Trophy Dubai was the fourth in a scheduled series of regattas that compete for the Louis Vuitton Trophy. The regatta occurred in Dubai between 14–27 November 2010. The Louis Vuitton Trophy format uses existing International America's Cup Class yachts loaned to the regatta by various America's Cup racing syndicates, keeping costs relatively low for the competing teams.
Petrus Reininus Johannes "Peter" van Niekerk is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his country for the first time at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. With Roy Heiner as helmsman and Dirk de Ridder as fellow crew member, Van Niekerk took the 4th place in the Soling. In the 2004 Olympics in Athena Van Niekerk made his second Olympic appearance. This time in the Star with Mark Neeleman as helmsman. They took 14th place.
