Robert A. Bowman served for 17 years as President/CEO of MLB Advanced Media ("MLBAM"). [1] Media reports in late 2017 alleged his departure from the MLBAM resulted from a decade of inappropriate behavior, ranging from multiple consensual intimate relationships with subordinates and leading a "culture of partying and heavy drinking with employees outside the office." [2] MLBAM manages online activities for Major League Baseball including the MLBAM@Bat video streaming applications for Smartphones, pad computing devices and the like. [3] From 1995–2000, he was ITT's President/Chief Operating Officer. From 1991–95, he was also ITT's CFO. [4]

From 1983–90, Bowman was Michigan's State Treasurer and was widely credited with helping fuel the state's economic recovery, including from a 1987 Public Sector Consultants' profile that "Wall Street smiled on Michigan's improved fiscal condition," leading to national notoriety for Bowman. [5] In 2010 it was reported that he was considering a run for governor of Michigan. [6]

Education

Bowman graduated from Harvard College in 1977 [7] and the Wharton School of Business in 1979. [8]

During his career, Freeman has played exclusively for the Atlanta Braves. He made his MLB debut in 2010 and is a five-time MLB All-Star. Force Touch Force-sensing touch technology developed by Apple Inc.

Force Touch is a haptic technology developed by Apple Inc. that enables trackpads and touchscreens to distinguish between various levels of force being applied to their surfaces. It uses pressure sensors to add another method of input to Apple's devices. The technology was first unveiled on September 9, 2014, during the introduction of Apple Watch. Starting with the Apple Watch, Force Touch has been incorporated into many products within Apple's lineup. This notably includes MacBooks and the Magic Trackpad 2. The technology is known as 3D Touch on the iPhone models. The technology brings usability enhancements to the software by offering a third dimension to accept input. Statcast Statistical analysis tool developed for and used by Major League Baseball

Statcast is a high-speed, high-accuracy, automated tool developed to analyze player movements and athletic abilities in Major League Baseball (MLB). Statcast was introduced to all thirty MLB stadiums in 2015. The Statcast brand is also licensed to ESPN, which uses it to brand alternate statistical simulcasts of the network's games on ESPN2 and ESPN+.

2017 Atlanta Braves season Major League Baseball season

The 2017 Atlanta Braves season was the Braves' 52nd season in Atlanta and 147th overall. This was the Braves' first season at SunTrust Park, after playing the previous 20 seasons at Turner Field. The Braves began the season on April 3 at Citi Field against the New York Mets and finished the season on October 1 against the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park. On September 22, 2017, the Braves were eliminated from postseason play. They finished the season 72–90 to finish in third place in the National League East Division, 25 games behind the Washington Nationals. They failed to make the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season.
