Laura Flessel-Colovic is a French politician and épée fencer who served as Minister of Sports from 2017 to 2018. Born in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, she has won the most Olympic medals of any French sportswoman, with five. Before 2007, she was a member of the Levallois Sporting Club Escrime, and now works with Lagardère Paris Racing. She is married and has one daughter.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's sabre, but was defeated in the third round by his teammate Nicolas Limbach, the German team which he was a member of were knocked out in the quarterfinals. He has received medals at the Show Jumping French Junior Championships, the Show Jumping European Championship for Young Riders, the Show Jumping European Championships, and the Show Jumping World Championships. He placed 34th at the 2012 Summer Olympics and is currently ranked sixth on the FEI Rolex Ranking List.
Carlos Soler Márquez is a Spanish wheelchair fencer who has represented Spain at five Paralympic Games. Following the 2012 Games, he retired from the sport. He is also a fencing administrator and coach, having organized a World Cup event at the fencing club where he is president.
