The Tennessee Titans are a professional American football team based in Nashville, Tennessee. The Minnesota Fighting Pike were an Arena football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They joined the Arena Football League (AFL) in 1996 as an expansion team. The Fighting Pike were the first ever attempt at an arena/indoor football team in the state of Minnesota. The owner of the Fighting Pike was Tom Scallen. The Fighting Pike played at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The team colors were green and gold. The team finished the 2001 season as a member of the Western Division of the American Conference of the Arena Football League (AFL). The team joined the AFL in 1996 as the expansion Texas Terror. After their first two years of existence, the franchise changed their name to the Houston ThunderBears. Plagued with attendance problems through the majority of their existence, the team folded in 2001. Home games were played at the Compaq Center.
Clint Dolezel is an American football coach and former professional arena football player in the Arena Football League (AFL).
Raymond 'Ray' Philyaw is a former arena football quarterback who was most recently the offensive coordinator of the Jacksonville Sharks of the Arena Football League (AFL). He also played for the Cleveland Gladiators, Chicago Rush, Kansas City Brigade, Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings and the Albany/Indiana Firebirds, leading the former to the American Conference championship game in 2004 and 2005. Prior to his Arena Football career, he played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the Madison Mad Dogs of the Indoor Football League (IFL). After leaving to coach with the New Orleans VooDoo in 2011, he attempted a return as a player in 2012 with the San Jose SaberCats, but later became OC for the San Antonio Talons. He holds the record for the highest career TD-to-INT ratio in AFL history and threw a school record 52 TDs while attending Northeast Louisiana.
MarTay Jenkins is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Arizona Cardinals. He also was a member of the Arizona Rattlers in the Arena Football League (AFL) and the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at the University of Nebraska Omaha.
Gary Gaines was an American football coach. Gaines was the head coach of the 1988 Permian High School football team, which was the focus of Buzz Bissinger's book Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream and the 2004 motion picture Friday Night Lights starring Billy Bob Thornton. His coaching career spanned four decades, coaching at eight high schools and two colleges, all in Texas.
William Taylor "Spike" Dykes was an American football coach. A high school and college football coach throughout his career, he last served as head coach at Texas Tech University from 1986 to 1999.
Brian Jeffrey Symons is a former American football quarterback. Symons played professionally for the Houston Texans and the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL), the Frankfurt Galaxy and Berlin Thunder in NFL Europe, and the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League (AFL). He was originally selected by the Texans in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football for Texas Tech where he was a record setting passer. Symons never played in a regular season NFL game.

Mike Neu is the head coach. Ball State plays its home games at Scheumann Stadium on the campus of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. The Cardinals compete in the Mid-American Conference as a member of the West Division.

He is currently the head football coach at Texas Christian University (TCU), and previously served in the same role at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2018 to 2021, the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2016, and Louisiana Tech University from 2010 to 2012. In his first season at TCU, he led the Horned Frogs to a win in the semifinal and an appearance in the National Championship game.

In the Canadian Football League (CFL), he was a member of the Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and England Monarchs. Fowler played college football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Bryan Engram is a former professional Canadian football player who played for the Calgary Stampeders from 1956 to 1958. Engram was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 24th round of the 1956 NFL draft before opting for the Canadian Football League (CFL). Before his career in the CFL, he was an All-American End for Texas Christian University. As captain and team MVP he led the 1955 Horned Frogs to a 9-2 record, a Cotton Bowl appearance, and a No. 6 ranking in the Coaches and AP polls. In 1994, Engram was honored with the prestigious Frog O'Fame Award for his collegiate career. He was also inducted into the TCU Lettermen’s Hall of Fame in 1995. In 2015, Engram was inducted into the Dumas, Texas Sports Hall of Fame for his high school athletic career. As a high school athlete he served as team captain and lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. After high school, Engram was offered a basketball scholarship to play Forward for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, but opted to play football for Texas Christian instead. Engram signed with the AFL's Houston Oilers in their inaugural 1960 season, but tore his hamstring just before training camp. Shortly after, Engram announced his retirement from professional football. He has since gone on to become a serial entrepreneur and an avid golfer living in the Dallas, Texas area.
Key'vantanie "Keke" Coutee is an American football wide receiver for the DC Defenders of the United Football League (UFL). He played college football at Texas Tech and has played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.
