Robert Meeuwsen (born 21 March 1988 in Nieuwegein) is a Dutch male beach volleyball player. He is the 2013 World Champion alongside his teammate Alexander Brouwer. [1] He is also a beach volleyball bronze medalist from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Since 2021 Alison has been playing with Guto Carvalhaes.

Konstantin Sergeyevich Semenov is a Russian beach volleyball player. He competed for Russia at the 2012 Summer Olympics with his teammate Sergey Prokopyev finishing at the shared 9th place. As of August 2013 he has won one tournament in the FIVB World Tour and two in the CEV European Tour alongside two other podium spots in the World Tour. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, Semenov and his new teammate Vyacheslav Krasilnikov finished as fourth. Since the end of 2017, Semenov plays with Ilya Leshukov. They qualified for 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Álvaro Magliano de Morais Filho is a Brazilian male beach volleyball player. Early in his adolescence, Álvaro liked to play soccer. By the influence of his father, who practices beach volleyball, Álvaro began venturing onto the sand and as he says himself: "I have become hooked to beach volleyball". He played with Vitor Felipe from 2007 to the middle of the 2011 season, when he started a partnership with Moisés. Over the years, he also played with Fábio Luiz, Benjamin, Luciano, and Thiago. In March 2013, he started playing with Ricardo Santos, a world-class Olympic Games gold medalist player. This partnership proved outstanding and led Álvaro and Ricardo to finish the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship Mazury 2013 in second place. Furthermore, Álvaro also won the prize of Most Valuable Player of the tournament. FIVB said that "... the tournament's Most Valuable Player Alvaro Filho not only performed superbly on the sand, but the statistics also reflected how well he played. The 22-year-old topped the most number of spikes and digs, illustrating how often he was served to while impressing with his backcourt play". In 2019, Álvaro partnered with Olympic champion - Alison Cerutti. The team will be competing in the Tokyo2020 journey.

In 2010, he was named the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Most Improved Player. He was also named the Best Defensive Player in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Samuel Schachter is a Canadian Olympic beach volleyball player. In 2010 he won the FIVB World Junior (U-21) Championship with Garrett May. At the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel, he and Team Canada won a silver medal. He and partner Josh Binstock were 2014 Canadian national champions, and represented Canada at the 2015 Pan American Games and the 2016 Summer Olympics. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, he and Binstock earned silver medals.

The United States national beach volleyball team participates in international beach volleyball competitions and is governed by USA Volleyball.
