The United States Courthouse in Seattle, Washington, is a federal courthouse and office building used primarily by the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. When it opened on August 17, 2004, at a cost of $171 million, it replaced the historic William Kenzo Nakamura United States Courthouse, which has since been transferred to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The 23-story, 390-foot (120 m) tall building houses 18 courtrooms and 22 chambers and occupies a full city block along with a landscaped public plaza.

She is the co-founder of the New York City architecture firm WORKac with her husband, Dan Wood. Gary Paul Haney FRIBA, FAIA is an American architect, a design partner in the firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Haney's approach draws heavily on environmental modeling techniques, deep materials research, and advanced building information modeling (BIM) technologies. Buildings on which he was lead designer include the supertall Al Hamra Tower in Kuwait City and civic buildings in the United States including two Public Safety Answering Centers in New York City and the United States Census Bureau headquarters and the redesign of the National Museum of American History, both in Washington, D.C.
Kliment Halsband Architects (KHA) was founded in New York City in 1972 by Robert Kliment and Frances Halsband. The New York City based firm is known for their architecture, master planning, interior design, adaptive reuse, historic preservation and transformation of institutional buildings. KHA's work expertise includes cultural, educational, governmental, and most recently healthcare buildings.
